There's a major flaw with this theory. Taken Vex can't travel through Time. Once a Vex is taken, they worship the Final Shape, and abandon the "Pattern" which is what allows them to travel through time without paradox. Also, Eriana-3 lead the fire team down into the Hellmouth, and the reason Eris survived was because she picked up a few tips from Toland

 • Actually, a bounty by petra states something along the lines of the strongest warriors retain a bit of themselves in their Taken form. Apparently, Petra also considers this disgusting. Additionally, a questline for am minor quest states that Oryx gains the knowledge associated with those he takes. :) Additionally, and this I might be off on, but wasn't the de-establishment in the time continuum in the Vault of Glass caused by Oryx "taking" a powerful Vex. As for how Eris survived, I would like you to suspend disbelief for a second and believe in my headcanon. If it were so, and Eris actually is Mara Sov taken by Oryx and sent back in time, then she would have sinister end goals. If that is so, then she would be perfectly up to lying about what happened in the Dark Below. And there are no other survivors to verify her story. Whether you believe in my headcanon or not is irrelevant, you still have to admit she could claim anything she wants to, and you as well as the whole tower just have to go on her testimony because there's no one to tell otherwise. Maybe it is as she said, and its a few tips she picked up from Toland. Or maybe she's just saying that and there was some other reason she was the lone survivor of this failed attack.

The only taken to retain anything is Malok, who Oryx half took to mess with his sister's court. The information Oryx gains from taking is like an autopsy of their mind, he dissects their emotions and memories to manipulate his will upon them. But the thing about the Vex is that they have no emotions or memories, only directives and a connection to the Mind. There isn't anything to learn from it, the pattern is masked in geometry, which Oryx had yet to study or understand. And the Vex can't use the pattern because their systems are seperated from their network and now revolve around the Final Shape.
Additionally, and this I might be off on, but wasn't the de-establishment in the time continuum in the Vault of Glass caused by Oryx "taking" a powerful Vex.
If what you mean by 'de-establishment in the time continuum' as Praedyth's messages being both as if they are comming from the past and the present, then no, that's just the way the Vault works. It's a pocket reality that doesn't conform to time. If you're referring to something else, please clarify. Even if she was capable of independence, there's no way a Ghost would get anywhere near her if she was seeping with Deep power. And it's not just her testament we have, Toland's messages were able to break through the Overworld when Oryx arrived confirming everything Eris claimed. And what sinister end goal would she have? The death of two Hive Gods? I'd say we should make some more deals with sinister entities if that's the result.
