Alright, so first of all, I just want to start by saying that I rarely give feedback unless there's a bug, a glitch, or something is broken. This is no exception. When I finally got the Imprecation/First Curse quest, and heard of the First Curse, I was pretty excited. "What's this?" I thought, "A hand cannon that's built for medium to long-range combat? Sign me up!" So my friends and I started on the quest, and got the first part done in less than ten minutes. We waited a week for the Gunsmith to get back to us, and then came the the next three objectives: -1: Ascend the gun -2: Get a seven precision kill streak in PvE -3: Get a seven precision kill streak in PvP While the objectives looked daunting, we were ready and willing to try this thing out. So, after ascending our guns to around 260 (which took about ten seconds), we were off to the crucible, to try and get that "seven precision kill streak" After looking at the objectives again, we came to the conclusion that we'd probably never be able to do this. Imagine our surprise when it turned out that you didn't need a "seven kill streak", but seven precision kills in one match, with deaths allowed even. It was close, but we got the seven precision kills in one match easily enough. All we had to do is keep our aim steady and pace our shots, easy enough, right? So now, all we needed to do was get a "seven kill streak" in Pve. Sounds easy enough, right? I mean, even though the gun only has six rounds, it has Triple Tap, so if we get seven headshots, we can get this thing done in just a few seconds, right? WRONG. DEAD WRONG. After racking up headshot after headshot, kill after kill, and even attempting to get the seven kills on different planets, we couldn't do it. Hive? Too twitchy, you always wind up with a bodyshot. Vex? Too skinny, you always wind up shooting under their arms or between their legs. Fallen? They shoot back, and the impact from their rapid shots causes you to miss them completely. Cabal? Not enough spawn at once, you just can't hit them fast enough. Taken? Too powerful, it takes multiple shots to take them down. To try and figure out why this wasn't working, we did some tests, and apparently, because the rate of fire is so low, in order to even trigger triple tap on Impreciation, we had to fire the thing before it was even done recovering from the recoil, which let to us missing shots and having to start over again. Just to check and see if the perk wasn't broken I went to my vault and pulled out the Word Of Crota, and found that the perk works just fine, it's just so difficult to activate on Imprecation that it might as well be broken. That being said, my friend somehow managed to get done with that part of the quest. His exact words after beating it? "-Blam- that quest. That was bull. Good luck man, I don't even know how I did that." Somehow that didn't instill in me a feeling of confidence. My friend and I are both decent players, and have a decent tolerance for frustration, but when he gave up on Destiny for the night and went to sleep immediately after finishing the quest, without even turning it in, I knew this was going to be some next-level rage-inducing stuff. Two hours, three planets, and surely over a thousand kills later, I had finally managed to get seven headshots without reloading. Little did I know that in this case, "seven kill streak" actually meant "kill seven enemies with headshots in less than five seconds". First if all, I'd like to point out that the gun takes at least two seconds to fire and recover from recoil. It's also far too slow to ever activate triple tap, and if you do, it's because of pure luck. Second, while the gun may be a three-shot-kill in crucible (provided all your shots are headshots, and you're within optimal range), it can take up to two magazines worth of headshots to take down one enemy, and it requires an ungodly amount of both skill to line up the headshots in the required time limit, and luck so that hopefully none of your enemies will have shields or shoot back at you. If they do, you might as well start over. So after those two more hours, I quit. I was actually getting angry, and that's something that rarely happens while playing a game, if ever. At this point, I was physically incapable of enjoying anything, so I turned the Xbox off directly (didn't even log out, and I always log out), put up my controller and headset, and went to sleep. So, if Bungie sees this, my message for them is this: please, for the love of God, stop making exotics that are only obtainable by the top one percent. We're not all "MLG pro" or whatever. Some of us are just people who work stressful jobs, deal with stressful lives, and then just want to come home, relax, and play some games, Destiny included. We're not all willing to suffer through near-impossible quests, the completion of which comes down to a matter of seconds, and requires some kind of preternatural luck (or in imprecation's case a fraction of a second and an ungodly amount of luck). Challenges are fine, but near impossible challenges ruin the gaming experience for many. I'm sure I'm not the only one. So in the meantime, I'm going to go back to using that Judith-D I got from armsday, vaulting my Imprecation, and forget all about this ridiculous quest. It's not enjoyable, it's not fun, and it is most certainly ridiculous. Edit: You can't put imprecation in your vault. So now I'm stuck with thing until I finish it. Great... Guess I know what I'll be doing Friday afternoon. :/ Edit2: Finally got the PvE part done at Crota's End, at the lanterns. It still took roughly fifteen minutes of constant headshots to get the perfect lineup, but it happened, so at least that's a plus. Now I have to wait a week again so I can actually get the gun. Right... Edit3: Finally got the First Curse, and maxed it out over the course of four days, since i couldnt find any weapon parts to upgrade it at all. That being said, it kind of sucks for anything other than PvP, and is mediocre in PvE, easily outclassed by most hand cannons. It looks pretty though, and has a cool animation when you draw it, so there's that. Guess it really wasn't worth all the fuss after all... :/

I somehow managed to turn it in with imprecation equipped I have no primary right now! The interesting part is that I have a black auto rifle that doesn't exist in the armory
