Okay, so, I really want to play [i]Star Wars: The Old Republic[/i] WITHOUT the lag I've been gaining and I realized that my computer may not have DX9 installed on it. However, after extensive research I saw that people running on a Windows ME or Windows XP should turn on a "System Restore" point before installing.
What I need to know is should I back up my Windows 7 computer before installing DX9? It's a newer and better version of the Windows computer compared to Windows XP and ME, but I don't know if I should back up my computer just in case things go to crap....
