I just looked at what thread this was because it was a while ago. I see why you questioned it. You should check out a book called "The Dog Master." Can't remember the author. It's a fictional work about the bonding of man and wolf in prehistoric times that ultimately led to our ability to survive and out live the Neanderthals. Who, by all rights, should have wiped us out. They were faster, stronger and probably smarter as they had larger brains. But we had wolves. It's a great read and I highly recommend it.
