[u]Shotguns[/u]:
They deal less damage than snipers, require you to be at arm's length, and slow you down when you use them. They're basically useless. I think they need a good damage buff, more handling, and normal movement speed.
[u]Fusions[/u]:
Again, they deal less damage than snipers and have less range. I'd like to see them get a good damage buff as well. I also think they should have the same ammo reserve as snipers and shotguns, but that's only because I want the symmetry.
[u]Snipers[/u]:
The higher RoF ones are worse than the lower RoF ones, so that needs fixing.
[u]Sidearms[/u]:
I'm sorry, what am I supposed to do with this? Buff them somehow. I don't care if it's damage or utility-wise, just buff them.
[u]BONUS Exotic Specials in the Primary Slot[/u]:
Vex Mythoclast- I've never had it, but from what I've heard, it sounds like it should get a buff when it becomes available again.
Universal Remote- This thing has been about as useful as a breadstick since day one. It could use more reserve ammo, along with a bit more of a buff somehow.
No Land Beyond- It has less DpS than most snipers and ONLY ELEVEN ROUNDS. Buff both so this thing gets some use outside patrol.

I disagree with most of this statement, but thankyou for making it. Shotguns do less damage thwn headshots, and are situational. High damage snipers, you are correct.
