When will Rise of Iron preorder be available on Xbox One?
First of all, this DLC looks awesome. I am stoked to see this new area and play the new story. To the point, I absolutely want to get my hands on this new Iron Ghorn but I can't preorder yet on Xbox. I tried looking it up on the Internet or looking here but I can't seem to find it. [b]Is there a schedule for this to be available for preorder on Xbox One?[/b] Again, if Bungie reads this or anyone who cares to know, I am stoked and I think they are doing a great job.

You have all heard of the issues with 'free fallout 4' or the leak of ROI on the Xbox store. They would like to fix these issues before they put something so big like Rise of Iron preorder up on the store. Edit: On the latest this week on Xbox, Major Nelson said that it will be up for preorder very soon. The wait is almost over. Edit2: Preorder is up for most people. I personally still can't but for many it is up on the store. Edit3: Holy shit you guys. Thanks for the help and all but it is out and I have preordered it, just let the post die.

For people having issues, I just manage to get it with a bunch of hassle, First make sure you own all the DLC, so your not just game sharing which I was, even though this still didn't work until I made a pin on my homepage of the product page, after going through that I was able to pre-order it, instead of just finding it through the normal store tab on the xbox. Hope this helps with others.

7 RepliesIt still isn't letting me buy it from the Xbox store? Pretty annoying if I have to buy the full collection again just to get this year's Gjallarhorn, have already bought the original game, the dark below, house of wolves and the legendary edition (as it was cheaper than TTK on it's own)...

1 ReplySo just some feedback, i could not pre-order anywhere BUT then i just went through my computer (windows 10) and logged into my xbox through the xbox icon, then went to the store and searched Destiny ROI pre-order and was able to pre-order it!

14 RepliesI have been reading the comments, and I am highly entertained. I'm in the same boat as Psychic Donuts, it is highly possible if not exactly the reason for Xbox One's delayed release. Exclusives, company product history, nor money is the cause, just an preperation/protection by Microsoft. I also just want to address some comments that made me laugh. 1) Those of you who keep saying Iron Gjallarhorn is PS4 exclusive, Bungie would not advertise it if that was the case nor would they be afraid to say it. 2) Both consoles have their own console exclusive games, Bungie started Destiny on both consoles and that is where it is staying (Legacy Consoles, your time has come, it was a good ride, but the times have changed). 3) I have also though that Xbox AND Playstation exclusives would be a good idea, sadly it would be unfair if 1 company paid more for a game than another and got the same treatment (dish out some money Microsoft -_*). 4) Rumors from "secret sources" are completely false, unless it was an actual Bungie employee or partner company, that secret source is most likely Y-O-U. Stay strong Xbox, only time will reveal the true fate of RoI pre-ordering. Playstation, stop bragging about exclusives, Destiny doesn't revolve around them (Xbox stop complaining). If anyone else took the time to read the comments, please share your favorite comment. Can't wait for RoI and all the changes and new content. It may have had a rough start, but this game is gaining popularity similar to Halo (hehe sorry PS just had to throw in a jab). From beta to RoI, Destiny has been a rollercoaster ride, having its ups and downs. Finally on September 20th, all I have to say is "Welcome Guardians, Veterans (Year 1s), Next Generations (Year 2s), and KinderGuardians (Year 3s). Atheon, Crota, Skolas, and Oryx have been defeated, but the adventure is far from over. The next chapter awaits, LET'S BECOME LEGEND ONCE AGAIN! Good luck Guardians." =3

4 RepliesI suspect that X-Box One will be bombarded by advertisements and reminders when the RoI preorder becomes available, which will likely be in August sometime. There is no doubt that Bungie would not want to cash in on the millions of X-Box users who want to buy the game, so they will not be missing out on this golden sales opportunity. Relax and wait, there will be reminders of the game everywhere, on X-Box, email accounts, Destiny apps, etc.

5 RepliesEdited by xxSoli: 7/9/2016 5:41:32 AMOK, apart from Roland IV being either A) a troll, B) an idiot or C) Both of the aformentioned, I would say stop worrying guys, ESPECIALLY if you are in the UK - we had exactly the same thing with Taken King - they announced it months ahead, but pre-order was only available about 4-5 weeks prior to launch (I know I looked every day lol). So go enjoy they game as it is, and it'll pop up in the xbox store about middle to end of aug i suspect :)
