Hello!
So I had to send my PS4 to the console hospital for a bit, just got it back today. I've been trying to patch Destiny but I've had no success. When I go to the menu, it just says "pre-release beta" on the bottom left. I'm also not able to re-download The Taken King. But while I figure that is a Sony issue, I would be thinking that Destiny should at least patch to 2.0 and above. Other games have been able to patch successfully, it's just Destiny that refuses to patch.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, tried clicking "Check for Update" and that just says it's the latest version, which it obviously isn't. Any Ideas?

Networking issue I used to have an Xbox 360 that could not update destiny. Well the way I resolved this was having a direct connection to your modem while updating destiny. Hopefully this works for you ps folk including Xbox

I am having the same issue on PS3 (post created previously). I can't update Destiny, it shows it is a pre-release version, and I can't play it at all ...

15 RepliesHello, Thank you for your report. Can you possibly provide a screenshot or video of exactly what it is that you are encountering? Furthermore, in which screen are you seeing the "Pre-Release Beta" messaging?
