I bought it. The Mark V set is really nice. I though I may as well buy it since the DLC is all free. I enjoy the game and am willing to support 343. The cosmetics you unlock through the packs are mostly uncommons and rares, so you really aren't getting too much there. You do, however, get a ton of RP and XP boosts, which are always nice. Overall I would recommend it. I'm all for microtransactions if the main DLC is free.
