      If firebolt is nerfed smoke or specifically the combo will be next up. After smoke I predict lightning grenade nerf.

    • No kidding, based on what happened to the beloved Sunbreaker the wombo nerf is inevitable. Sunbreakers have a terrible neutral game because most of our perks were about making our super stronger, but everyone used the same perks anyway. So they got nerfed. Same thing is happening here, people are arguing that you sacrifice other abilities when you use the wombo combo. That's just it, Nightstalkers are arguing about what they lose even though they know pretty darn well that the perks they currently use simply trump everything else. Doesn't matter if the combo is or isn't op, the players have spoken.

        Probably 8/10 wombo doesn't actually kill you. Go get hit by a grenade and melee of any other subclass and see if you are alive. [spoiler]you're not [/spoiler] That video is showing PERFECT grenade placement for that void wall.

        • K? I've seen videos of hunters throwing lucky tripmines to the same effect. I mean, that looked cool as fck but it ain't happening every time lol. Especially with that fire grenade being as unreliable as it is. Practice could never make perfect with it.

Throwing knives, back stabs, force lighting, flying knees, over load super punches, sticky grenades, firebolts, those things that explode and set you on fire and....             • Grenades as a thing are very powerful in destiny. IMO they as a thing are too powerful/frequent and detract from the gunskill needed to kill someone

            • It is a very powerful move. The combo may or may not have been intentional. I've been trapped in it dozens of times and I don't feel it's over powered. The neutral game for the night stalker is its strong point. The super for PvP is lackluster but has its moments. I can tether a couple enemies or maybe kill 3 with quiver... if you're lucky. The combo is no different than any other combo in the game.

              • Why do people get upset when they die to a Wombo Combo? That dude just burned both his grenade AND melee ability on you, just to get one kill (two if he's lucky). Wouldn't it be sorta unbalanced if he [i]didn't[/i] get that kill after burning both abilities at once like that? I'm pretty sure if any other class burned both their grenade and melee ability at the same time they would expect at least 1 kill out of it, am I right? So why the hypocrisy?

                • If you would use your melee and grenade at the same time, the enemy will die too. Maybe smoke is easier to use, but hey so is a melee that has 5 meters range

                    You are seriously comparing something that takes away your melee and grenade to do, doesn't track, doesn't burn for as long and you need to hit your target with to get the kill... You know just like a fusion grenade. To a firebolt grenade, which you don't need line of sight. You need to land within 9 meters, and you can hit two targets at once and burn them for the next 7 seconds doing the maximum damage possible no matter how close they are to the blast..... Seriously? All a wombo combo does is what a fusion grenade does. You hit someone direct you get the kill. And you need to use two abilities to do it. So what that it blinds you, you have to be hit dead on with one for it too work. If I hit you dead on with any grenade, it should kill you outright. Your only going to get multi kills if your opponents are beyond terrible and are literally standing on top of each other. The only reason nightstalkers are good, is shade step. Their grenades are terrible and the super is very situational. It's either a bad novabomb or bad golden gun. If you gave nightstalker axion bolts, firebolts, lightning grenades or any other good pvp grenade you would never see the wombo combo ever again. That team was beyond terrible. Two of them stood still inside of an area denial grenade. Some weren't even hit by the smoke.
