Just kidding; this totally won't be short.
Funner and dumber... Why aren't they words? I mean, I can be a bit of a Grammar Notzi (also, screw censorship) and a member of the Punctuation Police, but I make mistakes as well. But one thing that irks me, is when people correct me for saying "funner" or "dumber" because they aren't words.
Well, why the -blam!- aren't they? I am legitimately curious. How come I can say "That was fun" and "That was great", but I can't say "I am funner than you" but you can say "I am greater than you". I don't get it. Some of you may say it's because fun can also be a noun and an adjective. Then what the -blam!- is with dumber? You can't say "That is a dumb" because that is exclusively an adjective and a verb (ie. dumbing). I just think that's a bit off. And even more, you can't "That is a fun" EVEN THOUGH THAT CAN BE A -blam!-ING NOUN! If you can say "That is an attic" and not be able to say "That is a fun", then why the -blam!- are they both classified as nouns?
Now the alphabet. The -blam!- is with Q? A man who goes under the username on YouTube as "GradeAUnderA" already ranted about the alphabet with thing he had to say about the letters C, X, and Z. And even went on to talk about how dumb silent letters are. The video should be linked at the top, I highly recommend subscribing to that dude. But he forgot about the letter Q. Queue? That's -blam!-ing ridiculous. How would someone know how to spell that if no one told them? Just -blam!-ing spell it "kiew" if you can type out "view". Same -blam!-ing sound. Quick? Kwik. Are you getting my point? I want you to tell me if I'm wrong and just uneducated on a matter like this, because I legitimately don't have a clue why this stuff is as it is.
