Doesn't Matter To Me!

"My body is ready..." indeed. First, let me start off with introducing myself. I'm Carbon Neutral: Xboxian, EE, general slouch, and co-founder/elder of the Silent Crusade clan. Hi, how are you? I hope the kids are doing well... and by kids, I mean your consoles and their corresponding peripherals. Next, I love Iron Banner. I weep for weeks when it ends, then find utter joy upon its return. Though it may be an unhealthy and unstable relationship, I can't get enough; I guess that goes for Destiny as a whole. It was never 'necessarily' the game type Iron Banner hosted that I was drawn to. It was more like the sheer competitiveness of the event. Before there was Trials, there was Iron Banner, where your long and tiresome grinds for top tier gear meant something. Where you could crush underling competitors. Where you could see how you measured up against other gargantuans of Destiny. Yet, now the next game type is... Rift? As I stated, the game type was never necessarily the draw, but now it's a deterrent. What next... a dude wearing sunglasses and a cowboy hat riffing a bad rock/country amalgamation, singing, "Are you ready for Riffffft?!" Yuck. I was happy with Control and Clash; it wasn't a ball game. Iron Banner SHOULDN'T be a ball game. Iron Banner should go to the game type(s) that suits its reputation among the Iron Lords. Lord Saladin would agree, I think, and Lord Shaxx, well... he gets off at just about any feat in Crucible, so I'm sure he'd be on board. Iron Banner is supposed to be the pinnacle of competition, for larger teams. My proposal: Iron Banner - Matchmade 6v6 Elimination Same basic rules as Trials matches, but first to 3 wins. First to 5 wins might make games drag on, given team size. Also, no passage coins/cards/etc. Iron Banner NEEDS to be spiced up, Emeril style. "BAM! Kick it up a notch!" (This reference probably precedes some of you), or for you Futurama fans, Chef Elzar, the Neptunian spice weasel connoisseur. In any case, I wanted to see who else would love to see a 6v6 Elimination game type for this monthly event. So... who's with me? Against me? Please offer a detailed reason for your decision... Thanks! - Carbon
