Of course not. Since when has there been a gene that decides sexuality? (gay/straight)
It's not a conscious choice, but it's by no means decided at birth. We don't even have ideas of what attraction is at that point in life. We don't have ideas of anything, only instincts.

Wanna give a link to an article rather than pulling your statement out of your ass?

Ah, the infamous "do it yourself". Well, basic knowledge in genetics (which you can get by taking a middle school biology class) would give you enough information to know that if a "gay gene" ever existed, it would have died out very quickly, since offspring are only produced by heterosexual couples. But, since I did not major in biology, I decided to go ahead and look it up to humor you, and boy was I shocked. They didn't find a gay gene. The most recent article I found, published in October of 2015, explained that the experiment to find the "gay gene" was severely underpowered and simply couldn't provide enough evidence to support the theory of a "gay gene". Here's a link to the article I found. http://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2015/10/no-scientists-have-not-found-the-gay-gene/410059/

cool guess i am wrong, however my point still stands that its not a choice. 1. If anything its both nature and nurture through several case study's. i don't have a link for this but For example in one there were two twins boys raised in the same household. One happened to be gay. it was genetic predisposition not society. As one child simply gravitated towards Barbie's while his brother did not.(if you really need a link ill find it for you) 2. Why choose to be something that's frowned upon is society? indeed times are changing but it is not fully accepted. There have been gays for thousands of years in many different cultures. all not so friendly to homosexual's. 3. http://www.yalescientific.org/2012/03/do-animals-exhibit-homosexuality/ Animals cant make choices. overall nothing is set in stone and we are always learning more and more. The human brain is extremely complex but so far it should be known that ones sexuality is definitely not entirely a choice.

Your number one statement is the experiment that the article I found that shot that theory down. I'm not claiming that being gay is a conscience choice, but it's definitely not a genetic trait. I found that article interesting, actually. Thank you for that.
I'm not claiming that being gay is a conscience choice, but it's definitely not a genetic trait.
You don't know that the statement above is true. Considering you just called someone out for making claims without evidence I would have thought you'd avoid doing exactly the same thing.

There's more evidence against it than for it, but yes, anything is possible I suppose.
