I dont really like all the constant calls for this or that to be nerfed, but it does happen, and it seems like sometimes bungie listens to them.
So!
My idea is this. When bungie is considering changing a weapon/class, they make a pop-up vote notification when you start up the game. Present for maybe a week, so if you log in to the game in that week you have it pop-up once.
Like the notifications of iron banner or other events.
It would briefly state what they are considering... e.g. 'we are considering reducing the duration of the titan super hammer of sol', or 'we are considering reducing aim assist on snipers', or 'we are considering improving fusion rifles', or whatever.
And you then click on either 'yes, i agree', 'no thanks', or 'i have no opinion either way / abstain'. And the result determines whether that change is made or not.
In this way the result would usually be reflective of the wishes of the majority of active players, not just whoever cries most on the forum.
Good idea / bad idea?

It wouldnt work because the 3 classes are worse then republicans and democrats, the voting will just be like "hey that hurts me, so no, or hey that hurts a diff class/gun so hell yes" and then that basically just means most popular class wins

1 ReplyIt would be a great idea if all classes didn't hate each other so much. This is the worse crybaby comunity I've ever seen. Nobody like a nerf called on thier class but love to call nerf on others.

2 RepliesI think they should implement their changes in a test format for one week, if the changes are liked they are kept, if the changes are disliked, then the changes(that're disliked) are reverted. This would happen almost every month.
