Cheating

So I just played with my team on trials against some players that were lagging. This one person, every time we shot him he wouldn't lose health. He'd just move in one direction and then reappear behind us with a shotgun. This would go on throughout the entire match and this person had a red bar with his team getting yellows and red. I advised my team to just utilize the reporting mechanism. We reported for cheating and bad connection. Is that all or are we supposed to post video proof? We each reported them at least once.

 • Ok, thanks guys. I'll leave it with the report. Since their players were saying that he was not cheating. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt although it would be nice if there was a notification about the result of the investigation.

 • Reporting them is all you really can do. Posting a video will just net you a bunch of replies from wannabe Mentors telling you to take it down since it violates the code of -blam!-ery *ahem* conduct

 • If you've reported them in game, then you've done the best thing you can do. Bungie also a contact form for reporting suspected cheaters. Please take note of the rules before using this form. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967
Please be aware of the following before filling out the contact form: A Post-Game Carnage Report (PGCR) link is required. Reports which do not include a link to a post-match report will be disregarded. To find a PGCR: Visit your Bungie.net Profile Select your character Click the "Stats" tab Find and select the activity during which you believe cheating occurred in the "Recent Activities" list Right-click the "Permalink" in the top-right corner of the popup, and choose "Copy Link Address" If you are not confident that a player was cheating, do not use this form. Many things that may at first appear to involve cheating can be explained by other things, such as poor internet connectivity. Abuse of this contact form may result in account restrictions. Fraudulent reports and submissions unrelated to cheating may result in disciplinary actions against your account.
