They said that faster charging rifles would get damage nerf. Fusion rifles are one hit kills if you land just a majority of your shots. Even if you are doing 34 per shot you are shooting 7 shots. My fusion rifle that I have on my Titan does 42 per hit. If I land just 5 of my shots it's a one hit kill. People are saying the merged stability based off of pocket infinity and plan c but I think the real nerf was done to range because people were showing fusion kills from incredible ranges.
Man, I think you're missing the point of this post. Fusion rifles are for close to medium range. I missed all of my shots because of the stability nerf. Those were perfectly lined-up shots starting at the legs (maybe you don't main fusion rifles, but I do, and I know how to use them). This video is not crying because I couldn't land a kill, this video is simply presenting the difference the patch brought (a 21% damage nerf and the stability nerf). Perfectly lined-up shots and I couldn't get a kill at medium range, because not only did 3 out of the 7 bolts miss, the damage was reduced from 43 to 34 per bolt (21%). At 43 damage per bolt, 5 out of 7 bolts must hit (pre-patch). But at 34 damage per bolt? 6 have to hit. With the added stability nerf, the gun has been completely changed.
If you are arguing for a 21% damage nerf, congratulations: you are the only one.
I'm not arguing for 21% nerf of fusion rifles but you were using the vortex which is the fastest charging fusion rifle in the game. Fast charging fusion rifles got nerfed so obviously the vortex took the biggest hit. I main fusion rifles too but I prefer slower charge ones over faster charge so I haven't really seen the change.
