I tried telling people before this happened. "Skolas will be harder next week", I said. "You will not be able to burn him to the ground", I said. Most people said I was a moron.
Watching all this salt on the forums just puts a smile on my face :) those of you who relied on the burn method in order to get the win are returning to a much more challenging Skolas battle, and are very pissed off that this "nerf" didn't turn out quite the way you expected. Those of us who took the time to learn how to play it legit are returning to a much improved Skolas battle that feels more balanced, variably challenging, and (in my opinion) an absolutely delightful battle. Small arms and lightswitch last night was the most challenging Skolas battle I've done.
Sorry guys, but you need to use skill, communcation, and strategy to beat him now. It's no longer about cheap tactics and "who has the most OP weapons". How you guys feel about it? I love how the fight plays out. It feels much more like it was intended.
