An Upcoming Threat: Karrhis Devil's Rising Archon

After the assault on the City failed, the Devils retreated to the Cosmodrom. They called their scouts home from Venus and the moon, an important gathering was taking place in the wall. Ketches began entering Earth's atmosphere in pairs. As they flew over, skiffs deployed and dropped their soldiers outside the wall. The Tower was on high alert. A tall Fallen with shoulder plates covered in spikes sat on a throne, not his own. It belonged to Riksis, their dead archon. Captains, vandals, and dregs entered by the hundreds. They all bowed when Karrhis, the Devil's rising Archon stood. He hissed as he spoke. "Failed?! How did you fail?! Baroness! I think you know my punishment for failure." The Baroness, missing an arm, tattered cloak, and chipped helmet, knelt down in front of the throne. She whimpered a little as the sound of Karrhis' sword arked with energy. Karrhis' shadow raised over the captain's eyes. Every other captain stood silent in fear as the sword fell. All the vandals cringed when the captain's head rolled around. "If anyone else fails, I will personally send you to the Reef! Live under Variks! House Judgement!" Karrhis stood tall above, shadowing over the dregs. Karrhis, the rising Archon, climbed back into his hiding hole. "Do not fail me again! Triple our numbers! Triple our weapons! Triple our artillery!" The army marched out of the room. Skiffs picked up Fallen, ketches transmatted walkers, and servitors loaded up with ether. Lord Shaxx was currently talking to Lord Saladin about the new rewards in Iron Banner. "Well, I've heard the Red Spectre has returned to the Crucible. What do you have to say about that?" asked Lord Saladin. "Ah, yes. Red Spectre, the prototype to Red Death. I do not approve of this... They are very active." Lord Shaxx spotted the ketches in the distance. Lord Saladin turned around. "We need to tell Commander Zavala!" Lord Shaxx ran to the Hall of Guardians. "They were too organized, but I thought their Archon was killed." Lord Shaxx gave his report. "Their Archon Riksis is dead. It was one warlock's first kill." Said Commander Zavala. "They could finally be fleeing, spreading out. However, I am afraid they might get a new Archon or machine god like Sepiks," Lord Shaxx had a good point. "Ha! Those Devils are a joke. I would join House of Kings!" blurted Cayde-6. "Cayde, this is serious! That, is no matter right now!" scolded Commander Zavala. "Just saying. Can we not vote for our Monarchs? What has this world come to?" asked Cayde in a whisper. "Lord Shaxx, get your men ready. The Devils won't easily give up, they may attack again," ordered Commander Zavala. Lord Shaxx walked back to the courtyard and gathered other guardians around. "We need scouts all over the Cosmodrome, the moon, Venus, and Mars. We don't know where the Devils are going, but we must find out quickly!" Lord Shaxx pointed to the sky. Afterwards, twenty hunters boarded their ships and took off.
