I've rocked a beard for many years. It has more than a few gray hairs in it now...sadly.

Look out mall Santa. Competition is coming your way.

Gray beards are cool. (at least I keep telling myself that). Each gray hair is like a visual display of real life EXP. People look at it and are amazed at your characters apparent level.

Mine is quickly on its way there. I bought a box of that "just for men" stuff a while back, and even considered using it till I saw a coworker that had done it. I'd just as well not look like I lived near Chernobyl. Lol

Yep, part of self-confidence is being comfortable in your own skin, wrinkles, scars, grey hair and all. I know it's not fair, but men (in general) are permitted and respected for embracing their aging where (in a lot of instances) women are expected to fight and hide the same thing. *shrug* I didn't make the societal "rules", and the ones that I don't see the logic in, I tend to ignore those anyway. People should be encouraged to do what helps them to feel best about who they are.

I agree, societal stigmas and concerns aside. I think that for a while I had that "I'm still young and cool" mentality. It just can be a rude awakening sometimes when you realize that that's no longer the case. Lol

I know EXACTLY what you mean. That guy in the pic still hangs out on gaming forums and thinks that he's a lot younger than the age listed on his drivers license!
