It's not laziness for everyone. I'm switching around weapons and using different things all the time. I love having all the options. Some weapons I have are a blast to use. I don't always use Gjally. I don't always use Thorn. I love Vex Mythoclast... It's such an interesting and fun exotic and not really a crutch at all. I love my Heart of Praxic Fire chest, I love my Ram helmet... I love many many different armor pieces all that won't be able to come back. It doesn't seem right to strip guardians of their legend.

Ghorn yeah that's understandable but a nerf and making it obsolete? And exotics such as hardlight are not over used at all, in my opinion the fact that hardlight is getting left behind is an example of the "oh we don't need to bother with that no one uses it anyway" attitude from bungie, the necrochasm has been widely regarded as one the worst exotics in the game despite the effort required to get it and it's still getting left behind, the logic is just non-existent
