Trials Kick Error Code Viper??

I want to know why getting kicked from Trials and having legitimate error codes, such as viper, baboon, etc. give me a loss, even if I have mercy left. I think it's complete BS. Finally had a chance at going flawless last night - on ninth game, still had our mercy, and I get kicked with a viper error code. Team goes flawless without me and I'm stuck with an 8-1 card. Complete BS. Is something being done to fix this? If anything it should use the mercy, not give me a loss and then cancel my mercy. Incredibly frustrating!
