Hello Guardians. i love to play trials of osiris with my buddies, i dont consider myself the best player but ever since HoW came out i been going to the lighthouse with all three characters until this past weekend. what ive noticed is that every weekend that passes it feels that the players that i play against are more of a challenge than those who i played against in the first weeks. i used destinytracker.com to look up my stats and on crucible it said 34 high skill on trials. so i wanted to know if that affects the crucible matchmaking when i try to play trials? ? ?

Hello, The matchmaking inside of Trials is all connection based. Bungie will try to match you up with the people who have a similar connection to yourself. If those people who end up being matched against you are really, really good, it's just a coincidence. As far as I know, there is no SBMM (skill based matchmaking) involved. Good luck on your hunt for flawless this week!

1 ReplyHello, Trials of Osiris matchmaking is connection based, not skill based. But as an intense, end game activity the further Trials progresses the more skilled users will become.
