Husk of the Pit drop
alright i know its probably one of the worst if not the worst exotic in the game but if i spam fist of crota with the house of wolves patch would it still drop or am i "out of luck" so to speak when it comes to obtaining that exotic. (if i can't get then oh well)

I've got the HotP, but getting it is totally random (I got mine pretty much as soon as got to the moon........level 10ish and above but empowering it, levelling it etc..level 3 of Crota's Bane......up to the point where you need the black wax idols for the embalming orb.........is just a mindnumbingly long grind...... The faction levelling system is broken, takes FOREVER - grind your teeth away doing so

I do that mission all the time to do bounties. I have not seen that drop for me since HoW came out. Its use to drop about ever 15th run or so. I've probably done 50 or so runs by now and no drop.

I guess it can still drop from what I hear, but since it's only 1 enemy instead of the countless blades that would originally spawn (idk why they removed them) your chance is extremely low. Basically, unless you have nothing else to do in anything but repeat that mission constantly every minute of every day, it's practically nothing.

2 RepliesI was working from home late the other night and finally decided to farm for the Husk. I'd gotten the Crux a couple weeks ago but have never seen a Husk. Four hours and dozens of runs later: [i]nothing[/i]
