Bungie Employee Please Read! Proof of Cheaters in Trials!
My team and I came across this group of 3 in the Trials. I was booted from the game and then one of my teammates were about 20 seconds after me. The team we were playing against consisted of two level 32's and a level 31. I believe they were scared to play a much better team because my team all had the lighthouse exotic emblem and were all on level 34's. So I found this extremely fishy and knew there was something odd about what had just happened. I went to each one of their profiles and on all of their characters for every single match of Trials of Osiris that they had participated in they won by the enemy team all leaving (DNF: did not finish) or by having an advantage of 3 on 2 or in my team's case 3 on 1 players. I looked at all 3 accounts and all 3 characters on each account and almost every single match they did not even play 5 rounds because they were booting people from the enemy team. I am not sure if they were IP booting, or doing a DDoS or something along those lines but this needs to be investigated and these people need to be banned. My team was on a 7-0 run and when you get booted from a game it gives you a loss even if you have the mercy buff. My friend did not get to go to the lighthouse because of this!

21 RepliesHi Sodac, While I can't say whether these particular players were cheating, I can guarantee you that Bungie actively investigates network manipulation and other forms of cheating. We will continue to monitor game performance for people abusing the system and enforce our policies. As mentioned in the two recent Weekly Updates, we've already dealt with a number of players who were confirmed to be cheating in one form or another. Rest assured that we will continue to do so. This is why I don't play much pvp and have never played trials . it's bad enough being killed by the same weapon all the time it's a right thorn in my side (see what I did there) and when you go in trials you have to put up with that doo doo coz if you leave you will most likely be reported for doing so and get a time out so yes I understand your frustration and bungie needs to step up and put all these lag switching cheats on the end of their foot.

1 ReplyYou may have gotten booted and i feel your pain cause it happened to me but now i cant even play trials cause im restricted for playing like anyone else. Love Destiny but getting restricted for something i didnt do and for playing with the same group of people every week.

Same thing happened to me this week, my team was 8-0 and we were up against one 34 and two 33s. As soon as the game starts we rapidly eliminated them and before the round ended I was kicked from the game and very short after that my friend was kicked too. Finally my last teammate said that after that happened the other team left, so he went to mercury but my other friend and I end up with a 8-1 score. PD. sorry if I had some grammar errors

4 RepliesI am sorry for that. Had it happen to me and I'm nervous to waste Time, Energy and Passage Coins to attempt a Flawless Run again. Happened on my 9th Game also. (even worse is that for my 2 Flawless Games I received the Void Auto Rifle) yuck

4 Replies@Sodac I checked their profiles and they were cheating for sure, Bungie should really just ban them from Trials cause they got all flawlesses cause of this which is stupid. These guys don't deserve anything but a ban.

Really only because elder scrolls and many other stole a shit load of players . You now the non reapeat type of games . Destiny because of Bungie is dying and on the way out !!!!!

4 RepliesYeah. I just watched what they're doing on YouTube. They're doing it at the end of poe35 too. Two guys just waxing the boss and the third little cheater boots one, not his friend, and they get the loot. I've had it happen on 34 and my son twice on 35. Not too happy about this Bungie. I think I'll just do bounties and upgrade every weapon in my vault until this is resolved.

My team which has been to the light house a couple times now came across a group while casually playing trials and as soon as we connect my Xbox drops connection via hacking. My team now outnumbered still crushes the opposition for a few rounds before another is booted by the hackers, and despite this our last guy still held his own and would have won if they wouldn't have booted him swiftly too. Obviously we were upset because a group of closet hackers had to cheat just to get a win, kinda wondering if anyone at bungie is even monitoring such occurrences. Could link in stats of both my team and the oposing team to compare at the time of event. It's kind of moot to just ban them for a few days because there is nothing stopping them from just returning to cheating. I'm just another causal player of destiny and gaming in general and just play to relax and instead I have constant server wide issues and hackers preventing and obviously skilled team from winning, granted I don't claim to be the best at all. I wouldn't have even been upset if they had won it legitimately but, they cheated. Bungie used to represent an icon of the gaming frontier, and needs to get back on their A-game because, it's not that hard to hack, people will get tired and destiny will end up riddled with hackers messing up the servers to best eachother. I doubt bungie will even pay head to my post so I'm putting in the comments of this one. Hopefully someone at least agrees/notices this. And for anyone who has yet to experience such an event occur, one such example of an attack would be as the game starts, you will receive and error code, Weasel to be exact and your Xbox will be stuck in network recovery mode and will have to be reset to fix.

I think this happened to me. My friend got booted, then ~20/30 secs later I got booted. We were 4-0 and that counted as a loss.

6 RepliesBump. I'm pretty sure I've been booted from the trials myself as early as when they were just introduced. I thought I was having weird connection issues back then but later, after I noticed people bring up the lag switchers (a term I hadn't even heard in years) I figured that was more than likely the case for myself as well. Like I said in what I believe was my last thread, ENOUGH WITH THE CHEATING! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT BUNGIE!
