Destiny Companion app for Xbox One/PS4?

Yes, bring the Companion Xbox One & PlayStation 4!

Sounds like a good idea...

No, we don't need this.

So, the neat thing about Xbox One is that I can play a game and run other apps at the same time... and I don't know much about PS4, seeing as I don't have one, but I'm assuming that it would be able to do this as well. Here's the deal; I don't have a smartphone. I've never owned any kind of cell phone in my life, because I never really needed on nor wanted one. But since I don't have a smartphone, if I want to grab something out of my Vault or off another character (i.e. Gjallarhorn) without leaving my Fireteam, I have to start up my PC and come here, to Bungie.net, in order to transfer the items. You know what would be cool? What if... instead of having to go on a separate device to access to Companion app, we could just access it on our game console while we're playing Destiny? * * * Say you're playing on Xbox One (JUST AS AN EXAMPLE); you got a Raid team all together and ready to tackle Crota on Hard, and you need your Gjallarhorn... unfortunately, you only have one, and it's on another character. You can't find your smartphone, or it's not charged, or someone else is using the family PC... whatever. Instead of messing around with phones and computers, you just tap the Xbox Guide button on your controller, select Destiny Companion from the Xbox Dashboard... and do what you need to do. I imagine it would work the same way on PlayStation 4, assuming it has the same functionality with games & apps (forgive my ignorance)... obviously, we couldn't have this on Xbox 360 or PlayStation, since I know they don't support this function at all; being able to run multiple games and apps at the same time. What do you think? It would make things a helluva lot more convenient...
