Hey DeeJ/any others who may be reading. I was just looking at a few videos and articles about what Destiny "needs" to implement in future updates, and one I saw pretty repeatedly was some form of Player-to-Player trading. A few parameters included in this was the suggestion to keep it trading at equal rarity values (exotic for exotic, legendary for legendary and such). This got me thinking about Raid gear, and my suggestion is as follows- Give Raid Gear its own rarity status. I still remember being confused in my first few weeks of Destiny as to why these legendary-status items were treated with such reverence when compared to other legendaries. The armor and weapons earned in Raids are markedly different from any other weapons you can get in-game, and it would be nice if this could show in their rarity status. The color is almost irrelevant (my personal favorites would be red or cyan though), just something to set these items apart from something you bought from the vendors. That's about it for now. Thanks for reading!
Destinys biggest flaw besides a terrible story IMO is there lack of variety. No where more is shown in class. Titan with full armor= 8 shots to kill where Warlock with low= 10.....I mean come on how is that tanking? Basically the Guardian class system is only about different perks. Armor and raid gear is no diff. It suffers from the "Quality level 60= Purple" syndrome. They need to vary everything in this game more so there is many more choices. By making Any armor limited in light you make raid gear make Vanguard useless and as you say it shouldn`t even be the same color as raid gear. Raid= Exotic light level. So how about Purple and Yellow mixed? Orange? Vanguard and other weak level 33 stuff should at least bi light purple vs dark royal purple. ANyways if destiny just made everything in game as unique and balanced as grenade type, we would be fine.
