Why does Gambit get worse everytime Bungie tries to "Fix it" ?

This is gonna be a longish rant and general frustration of things I've experienced in the current season of Gambit. I honestly want to know. Grinding out for the shotgun and the ornament has probably been one of the most annoying and headscratching things I've done all season and it usually is, but this feels way worse than before. Heavy spam is absolutely off its rocker. It's almost, if not 1,000,000% guaranteed that whenever the invader comes over he is gonna to shoot a military surplus of Gally at you and unless you know exactly where he spawn is gonna be, you can't fight back. The revive delay and "random respawn" thing is a decent concept but it basically just gives the invader an easy kill as I find 90% of the time I revive myself, it's usually right in front of the invader and I go back to waiting for the spawn timer yet again. Not sure if it's a Ai pathing thing, a Void 3.0 thing or a Warlock thing, but the ragdoll knockback from the Warlock Void melee or volitile bursts absolutely break the Blockers AI. If they get tossed out of the center of the map they run about and do pretty much whatever they want. I've had Taken Knights get blasted into the forest area on the EDZ, get stuck on some level geometry and the bank remained closed the entire time. Oh and knocking a blocker into the Invasion portal (and apparently popping a rally barricade or a Rift near the portal) makes it 100% unusable. You cannot enter it at all making your team automatically lose since you can't invade and fight back. Then the immune phases on the boss... can we please just get rid of these entirely? I am so sick of losing matches because the game fealt we did too much damage on a primeval slayer x6 and it pops the bosses immune shield at <2% HP just to have the invader come over and kill us, making the Primevals health go back up and then we damage him again just for him to get another immune bubble. Invasion frequency (especially this week for Gambit labs) is ridiculous especially if you summon your primeval first. I've played matches on both ends of this where you bank just enough to essentially 🐓block the enemy team and once they got a primeval, you can literally invade and make their lives a living hell every 30-40 seconds while they cant do anything to your side whatsoever. I appreciate the Invader not being able to see guardians while ADS or by how much motes they have but absolutely none of that matters when they can just pop a guided rocket in a split second. Invaders in general need a rework. If they get wall hacks, take off their overshield. If they keep the overshield, take off the wall hacks. They are choosing to invade and they shouldn't be getting all the benefits in the world just for jumping through a portal. I like the little call back to the Gambit Prime Sentry with the invader mark perk on the weapons but as it stands now, you can't duel or even attempt to fight an invader with any of these weapons, not with the heavy spam. I honestly likes the original run of gambit with the best of 3 rule but clearly people didn't like that format because of how quickly you could melt the boss. Gambit prime was alright but the ability to snowball the enemy team and how blatantly OP some of the armor sets were was out of hand. Side rant: Why does damage feel random in Gambit? I've booted up a private match in the past to see what was going on and I don't get it. Some attacks the enemies do will straight insta kill you with no warning at all, almost like they just randomly get an elementary burn switched on for a moment. The dreaded Scorn Crossbow, Ogre Eye Blasts, Fallen Captain shrapnel guns, Envoy Jazz hands, Cabal Turrets, sometimes the Shriekers and heck, I've been 1 shot out of a Well with Protective light and void dampeners by a Vex Hyrda. It feels like the game can't process what is happening so it just rolls all the damage into 1 clump and instantly drops you. It's quite ridiculous. It doesn't happen every time but its happened often enough for me to notice it more times than not. Oddly enough The Gambit title is the only one I've guilded every time since multi-guilding was introduced. I must be insane.

The problem is that they're trying too much to separate the PvE and PvP aspects in them, making both sides far too conflicting and causing issues. You can see this the most with invasions, though the inconsistency in ad strength also shows it. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure how to fix it on the PvP end other than completely changing how invasions work since those still have the highest influence in the gamemode. Personally, rather than just give a Guardian an overshield and soft wallhacks, I'd just make them some sort of Guardian/Taken hybrid that has their own set of weapons/abilities, while also allowing invaders to sabotage a team in more ways than just killing them. Have them create/trigger traps, empower enemies, steal motes off of ads, spawning causes the Primeval to take less damage, etc. On the PvE end, ad strength just needs to be more consistent and the Primeval itself needs to be more than a block of Titanium that shoots back. Turn Primevals into something similar to strike/dungeon bosses where they have their own unique mechanics to deal with during the fight. They should also be more mobile, discouraging the idea of just hunkering down and stacking buffs in one spot (which can also helps works against easy picks for invaders).
