What the hell is the matchmaking system taking into consideration when forming teams?? Admittedly, I'm no PVP God by any stretch of the imagination. I am however, a long time player of this game and I play more pvp than pve. I'd say I'm an average to slightly better than average player.
You'd think that with random matchmaking in freelance, there's about a 50/50 chance of winning and yet I have taken loss after loss all day long. If I were playing solo in the regular que going against coordinated fireteams with comms, I could totally understand getting rolled, but in freelance where everyone is solo, the mismatch seemed way off. I looked at destinytracker.com a few minutes ago and found that of the 33 games I played, my team was expected to lose 28 of those games.
Bungie....please look at your matchmaking because something is not right, and it gives people no desire or incentive to continue playing a game where the odds are this severely stacked against them. I don't want a free lighthouse trip, or participation trophy just for showing up. What I do want, is matchmaking that is at least fair.

Win ratio is nowhere near 50%. I don't even care about flawless, I'm just playing for rep to get the messenger this week. You can however control who is on your team by inviting two other players.

Not to bash you or anything, but being under 25 power levels under will do that to you. I’m only 5 under and I was feeling it. You can’t expect your team to win what is essentially a 2v3.

1 ReplyMy last trial match before going to the light house My trials KD 1.14 Teammates 0.98 and 0.13 Average combine KD .73 The other teams was .40 , .40 and .43 Average combine KD .41

Yup the worst matchmaking ever. I topped the team by a reasonable margin for my 2nd win and the guy under me gets flawless. Why are my teammates always bad even though I’m hanging with the other team.

1 ReplyGotta love being put on a team with a Newlight and a thumbless potato at 4 wins while the other team has a 2 top 1%ers

5 RepliesThere's literally nothing wrong with the trials freelance matchmaking, I think people just make the mistake of thinking freelance = wins even for negative players.

Can’t be fair when the MM pool is limited. (Low population game mode.)

Are you playing like you only care about rep to get the messenger this week?
