So i have had NAT type 2 for the longest time without any issues but after 29th i was able to raid with my clan after the reset but next day when ever i was matchmaking i ended up in empty group alone, or if i tried to join anyone i would get eventually get error message saying that as i have -blam!- cant connect.
This issue seems to be with some score of people as i can see multiple post about without any comments or just your normal have you tried to open ports or turn UPnP on.
Well i did the UPnP thing but not helping still getting the same thing. Funny thing is that my secondary connection that is NAT 3 everything works and i dont even get the occasional you have NAT 3 so there might be issues message.
To be clear any other game that i have tried works fine with my primary connection, Destiny 2 is the only one that started it after that 29th patch and reset.
So there is something wrong with networking and its effecting some people but not enough cause i have not seen anything official from Bungie about this as i fear that they are not aware of it.
Maybe anyone who has this problem should comment here so we can get this to the right people so they can check it out.

Having the same exact issue. If i'm on Moderate NAT I can't join any of my friends, but if I go back to Strict NAT I can. My ISP is based on AT&T cellular and as such I have to use a VPN to achieve a Moderate NAT. In my case I was thinking it had something to do with the VPN since when I disable it to get back to Strict everything works. I'm starting to suspect that this might be an anti-cheat measure that is a little too far reaching and is impacting legitimate use.
