Pinnacle dropping lower than items already acquired?
Is this a bug?

Seeing the Dane thing two weeks in a row.

I haven't checked your game history, but I'm gonna assume you're trying to do the basic playlist activities for Pinnacle. The playlist activities are the worst sources for Pinnacle light. If you want big gains, go do a dungeon boss fight or full raid.

This is Bungie.

Edited by Frèák: 4/10/2022 6:14:41 AMNo because some pinnacles are worth more than others. Weekly activity pinnacles are only +1’s. NF’s,Raid/ dungeon boss and things of that nature are +2’s. Do the plus 2’s first. Then the weeklies last. But repeats are bound to happen. That’s just how this game works.

Its just stupid thats all. Just another Bungie solution to make us grind forever for useless crap. So far this week Ive had 3 'Pinnacle' drops. All were chest pieces at 1551 (including one that was Exotic wooo) I already have a Master-worked Iron Banner chest that is 1553! So... All disappointing. All Junk to scrap. Just like almost every time i get these so called 'Pinnacle' Drops. I literally have not changed Armor in several seasons. Never get better gear, never get better stats on it. All I do is chase after slowly increasing light levels (no idea why I even do that, It never makes the game more fun). On my warlock I cary 3 pieces of exotic armor I have had FOREVER. Even among those 3 I use one of those 95% of the time. Even in an almost new season, there is ZERO chance of any exotic drop being something I don't have. ZERO! stoopid worthless 'loot'...

pinnacle is calculated on your overall max light level based on everything in your inventory, not counting the arifact. it's not based on a single item.

Not necessarily. It would depend on your power level, which pinnacle you did, and the highest power level item you have for that slot.
