Think about it, the traveler tends to come to us as a bird made of light. We saw this in vanilla D2, hawk moon, and even in forsaken.
So what if the Star horse is actually the physical representation of the darkness.
It would make sense that it hangs out with the 9 since they don't discriminat against it and see the light and dark as the same. It might also explain why the 9 have access to the taken and other minions of the darkness.

Personally, I think Starhorse is a servant of the member of the Nine who is associated with Jupiter, considering when you go to Xurs Treasure Hoard the largest thing in the room is a giant globe of Jupiter.

I'm pretty sure starhorse is r4om the nine....

Actually, he's a manifestation of Paracausal power. So, he doesn't really originate from our universe, but I think he's kinda like a combo of different stuff. Get the Catalyst quest for Forerunner to learn more.

Would've been even better if the horse statues in votd had 9 asses instead of 6

14 RepliesThen why is there so many of them and they are all broken? It doesn’t “hang out” with the Nine. Oversimplification is a bad idea. The Dark side directly threatens The Nine remaining sentient. If the Darkness wipes out Sol, The Nine go back to being dumb. Why on earth would they side with the Darkness??

Also it would explain all the strange horse statues in the pyramids

Stars very bright though …
