I'm about to revolutionize this thread because the console i now play on the most is.... *drum roll* THE WII U! In hindsight, the Wii U is actually one of the coolest consoles i've ever played on. Not only is it objectively better than the wii, since all wii games and data are cross-compatible, but the gamepad allows for some really unique ideas that you can't get anywhere else, especially in the party games genre. A lot of people say the gamepad is way too bulky, but i find it more comfortable than the switch, which doesn't come with hand grips. So far, i've got: Super Smash Bros Brawl Super Mario Strikers Charged Link's Crossbow Training (and the wii zapper) Wii Sports Wii Play Mario Galaxy Pikmin Pikmin 2 Pikmin 3 Nintendo Land Game and Wario Wind Waker Ocarina of Time (via Virtual Console) Majora's Mask (via Virtual Console) Twilight Princess Skyward Sword I wanted to play all the 3d Zeldas, but i haven't gotten around to beating them all just yet. I've beaten Wind Waker and i'm just about done with Ocarina of Time, but i haven't touched the other 3d Zeldas as of right now.

Ah man that sucks. I don't know many people with a wii u, so i'm not sure how the hardware holds up en masse. There's going to be a few faulty consoles no matter what you get, so maybe you just got unlucky. The only trouble i've had is that the gamepad cannot hold a charge. It goes to red after like, 3-4 hours, which isn't super long. It isn't a big enough deal for me to worry about it though, i just have to remember to plug it in.

Ours has to stay plugged in, and can’t go more than 3-4 feet from the console

  • I wanted to get a WiiU. We had one sitting on the shelf of the store I worked at for the longest time, and then right when I saved up enough Money to get one, it disappeared, and we never got any more in. :(
