Pretty sure Bungie changed the loot to once per class per week to avoid having players with multiple characters of the same class from leveling up too quickly. And that's fine.

  • While I'm aware of and understand this, it's also not an unsolvable problem. Here are two examples: -If you choose to use your 2nd or 3rd loot on the same character as 1st, they're not Pinnacle. -Recognizing Destiny is no longer the same game as in year 1 and Bungie is no longer against quick leveling (see: free 20 levels of Powerfuls skipped via Legend WQ campaign), they could just not care about this anymore at all. People are hitting max level week 1 nowadays anyway. Ultimately, quality of life shouldn't be sacrificed for the sake of leveling (which is imo far and away the worst part of the game anyway, and something Bungie has already said is getting revisited in Lightfall).

And that's fine.[/quote] Yepp. When d1 released there were people beating the game multiple times a day using the same character because they wanted to be over leveled for the raid or just wanted to get to max level sooner. Makes sense why they changed it.
