Hello. Yes, this will be fixed once the cause of the issue is found and tested.

  • And as others have rightly mentioned, how are people who bought the DLC or the season and can't play? Will Bungie reimburse these people?

  • And how far along is that now? 3 weeks in, have they found the cause yet? As with last season, this is an 100% occurrence issue that is replicated every time you try to test the game on one of the affected OS platforms. I assume like last time, if you are responding to posts again, it means someone is actually looking at the problem now?

This is as useful as „We are investigating“ 🤦‍♂️ Seriously, in the real world, when a service was payed and not delivered, lawyers would be all around the place to clear things for the affected. Just sayin … Sadly we are talking about a game here. So i even doubt that hiring a lawyer would help us in this case.

  • And what about the (almost) entire month that we've lost in this current season? Maybe even more depending on how long you lot manage to "fix" it. Or how about the day one raid that many of us were hoping to play only to be faced with this bug and miss out on the entire lot? Either get a computer or laptop at Bungie that is using Windows 7/1.8 or just remove W7/8.1 from the System Requirements on Steam cause they are clearly (At this very moment) misleading and have been for almost a month.

  • Yes how about compensation for bungies utter lack of testing and communication... are bungie going to give all of us affected the 3 classes seasonal ornaments from eververse? How about access to ALL the eververse stuff that's been on sale during this almost full month of being unable to play? How about all the bright dust we missed out on earning? What about the shaders we missed out on? How is bungie going to compensate us for their utter neglect? See this is the kind of information we need communicated to us FROM BUNGIE, not a help forum mod. As well as day to day updates on what's happening with investigation progress or the development of a fix?! Do we really need to hope and pray that some random community member figures out the issue and creates a fix for this all before bungie does like last season? I honestly believe the ONLY reason we got day to day updates with last seasons issues is because some random Russian gamer was able to identify and come up with a fix in 4 days where as it took bungie OVER A MONTH!!! And the thing that hurt my soul the most is Bungie had an extra long season (nearly 6 months long) to polish WQ and make sure it was good to go before release and STILL they couldn't find an issue that takes a whopping total of 30seconds to find by actually attempting to launch the game on ALL supported systems that were posted for WQ... all that extra time and they still couldn't double click an icon on a win7 computer to ensure it works properly... fkin PATHETIC!!!

I assume they even did this. But they didnt care in the end because fixing this would‘ve delayed the WQ release - prolly because they had no idea where to look for the source of this problem. And still dont have. Lets face it guys - Bungie has the numbers. Not delivering a fix for this gamebreaking issue after 3 weeks can only mean that we - the Win 7 playerbase - are just way too small nowadays, compared to Win 10 users. So they deal with this in the least possible priority. We have to get compensation though! Thats for sure. Either we get our money back or we get said items and bright dust for the time we cannot play. Simple as that!
