It's hilarious that Bungie has to take in data over the next few WEEKS before making changes.
As if they can't tell immediately that invis and overshield are insanely overpowered and need to be removed from pvp.

Don't recall anyone asking for invis to be removed pre void 3.0
-
Wow it's almost as if void 3.0 buffed it
-
Point was made to remove it, I'd happily go back to pre void 3.0, would love heart of the pack buff back
-
You guys rather be shatterdived again? Frozen ? Slowed ? No ? …. I didn’t think so.

Edited by Sohsuh: 3/16/2022 4:04:52 AMWho said anything about stasis? We’re talking about void.
-
Overshield is rough to go against. One Titan barricade is enough to turn the tides of war. Same goes for the smokebomb omni hunter though
-
No. We wait for the other 3.0's because they will likely be as powerfull if not more so... Because invis is pretty weak in pvp. If you cant see through invis you are literally blind...because i can see them...and i am 70% blind.
-
Yeah well you suck so unfortunately your opinion is invalid.
-
So i suck but have no problem with invis... Sooo what does that make you.
-
Not an invis crutch who is actually good at the game
-
Seems like you are pretty bad if you call invis a crutch.
-
Seems like you are pretty bad if you don’t
-
That doesnt make any sense.
-
You don’t make any sense

Problem is: removing it from PvP to Bungo is to remove it from the game completely because they still haven’t been able to balance the sandboxes separately. Look at Nova Warp; when it first came out, it was extremely OP in Crucible. Then after they nerfed it for PvP, it became completely useless in PvE. This is why I’m afraid every time I see one of these post. I don’t want a good build that I use for PvE to be utterly worthless because of PvP. Same thing with Shatterdive; I don’t play PvP at all but I kept seeing “Nerf Shatterdive” posts and I didn’t want to lose my Stasis build because of PvP. Same thing for the new Void abilities. All of them are amazing and honestly perfectly balanced in PvE (well not perfectly but good enough for me) and I’m having a blast on my Nightstalker and I really can’t wait to mess around on the other classes to see how much better I can fine tune my builds for all of them.
Sorry for the long comment BTW
Yea so you’re not correct at all friend. 1 nova warp is not useless in pvp or pve. I clutch up with it in pvp all the time, much better for me than slova bomb. And with the artifact mod and enemy density in the new game modes, it’s an add clear monster 2 overshield doesn’t need to go away. I haven’t played with a titan yet, so playing on the opposite side, I’ve never felt they were OP yet. You just have to have the discipline to NOT engage and to reposition. If they aren’t on top of their barricade, the overshield stops regenning. The shield does NOT regen health. The biggest mistakes people make is for whatever reason they charge the titan in that shield (like bugs to a bug zapper) and are surprised when they get owned. 3 hunter invis is a clear outlier, similar to shatterdive and hand held supernovas first launch. Only chance you have is if the hunter player is bad, and makes them easy to see and/or misses their shot that pulls them out of chaining invis. Give other classes the ability to spam barricades or rifts and you will see immediately how people lose their minds. I would think permanent spammable rifts would break any game mode - and I say that as a warlock main. But no, you go ahead and keep your spammable and uncounterable ability. Cheers.

Edited by Sohsuh: 3/14/2022 5:10:56 PMThey do a ton of changes that are different from pvp and pve. They could easily just had a timer on when you can invis or get an overshield again after using it in pvp. Like how Icarus Dash can't be spammed. Invis should be like 20-30 seconds, and overshield should be like 45 seconds - a minute.
