"Reduced melee recharge while invisible and wearing Graviton Forfeit when in PvP activities, including Crucible and Gambit. "
in new hotfix update.
-Reduced melee recharge while invisible and wearing Graviton Forfeit
so reduced melee recharge when invisible with graviton forfeit (only graviton increases melee recharge)
-when in PvP activities, including Crucible and Gambit.
so only nerfed in pvp? then why is the melee regen way worse in pve (tested for an hour in edz lost sector)
ok pvp stuff nerf, just remove pvp altogether,
but don't ruin the only good stuff in this mess (pve, mayhem and momentum control no other pvp modes)
-
And so continues Bungie's inability to fix anything - Pvp players get Pve screwed with because they -blam!- and moan and -blam!- and moan and on and on until they get the nerfs they want instead of adapting and getting better. And Bungie has proven time and time and time again they are just flat out too stupid to be able to split pve and pvp adjustments properly nine times out of ten -- probably because the entire game needs to be rebuilt and the code untangled from the spaghetti it is (which is why stuff like Telesto and other things keep breaking over and over and over again).

21 RepliesI'll never understand the people who say "just remove pvp" This is a pvp/pve/pvpve game. It has modes that cater to all three. NONE of them are perfect. PvP has the problem of the super sweats and no-lifers making it less fun for casuals and weak-willed newbies, as well as being a mode that isn't interesting or fun for those who don't like PvP to begin with. And that's okay. Because the super-sweats and no-lifers have fun with it. They enjoy it, and if they don't, at the very least it keeps them away from the majority of players that don't want to deal with them, and the strong-willed newbies stick with it because they're not gonna let some bad matches at the start determine their entire experience. PvE has the problem of being too easy in the early-game, and too exclusive in the late game. By that I mean if you don't have the exotics that are considered meta, then chances are you'll be hard pressed to find a raid team that will bring you in, unless you have friends to guide you through, and when it comes to endgame content, you need specific setups and massive amounts of coordination. Which isn't bad, don't get me wrong, but the average player isn't out here with top tier perfect 100/100 setups, and the average endgame sweat won't take any less than that. So PvE's issue is that it's too easy, or too exclusive, with that weird in-between state being that it's too easy with the right setup and too hard with the wrong setup, and bland with anything else. Then PvPvE, Gambit. Gambit is flawed in that if your team isn't abusing the top tier most gamebreaking damage phase tricks, you're just going to lose. It's not actually about skill, it's just about what build everyone is running. There's no player ability taken into account at all in the PvE aspect of it, and in the PvP aspect of it, it's down to who sees who first and who fires their rocket first, both of which are essentially up to chance based on where the invader spawns and who happens to be looking that way at the time. You and the other PvE mains don't enjoy PvP, that's fine. It wasn't meant for you. It was meant for those who do enjoy it. PvE and PvP are core aspects of this game; remove either one and you lose what makes it so appealing to such a wide variety of players. "Just remove PvP"... Why not remove PvE? The PvP crowd already says this is a PvP game, the PvE crowd says it's a PvE game... It's a PvE game with PvP options. And that's part of what makes it special: having that choice.

1 ReplyBack to a dust collector then I guess because of cry babies in pvp soon as I seen bungie wouldn't put a twab up on the hotfix i knew they were gonna nerf stuff that didn't need touching typical .

1 ReplyI haven't seen anyone mention the fact that it no longer increases the duration if invisibility in PvE. Not by a single second.

I'd trade that melee recharge for 3-5 extra invis seconds any day.

What do you expect as a hunter? Bungie stay killing us off. But I disagree about killing off pvp, it's the only nonboring part of the game. If you need melee that bad in pve...idk what to tell you

2 RepliesBack to Omniocolus I guess.

Forfeit is fine in PvE 😩 Right before Risen, I farmed a legend lost sector about 87 times and then the next day the same sector but on master and on the 5th run I got Forfeit with exactly the desired stats I wanted Mobility and Strength

I imagine if the recharge rates in PvE are way worse they'll be patched out, I know that the melee cooldown reduction is based on how many enemies are around you and I'll check it out more myself But the 95 recovery and reload speed boost are going to hold me to it even if the melee cooldowns bad for the time being.
