Glaives do not have a charged melee, and in fact are completely incapable of using melee charge whatsoever. However, if I make myself or allies invisible while using Graviton Forfeit or Omnioculus, the glaive's melee override entirely prevents 100% of the melee recovery my exotic is supposed to give me if I'm holding it.
This is completely build-breaking, and that the glaive itself doesn't even do anything with the recharge that it eats just adds insult to injury.
Furthermore, the glaive replacing my melee charge indicator is just unacceptable. On Nightstalker I absolutely need to know when I do or don't have a melee charge. I can even USE that melee charge while holding the glaive, because Trapper's Ambush quickfall consumes it. Even without that, though, the information of whether or not I have a smoke charge when I switch off my glaive is vital.
The glaive's melee icon is literally useless, and only removes important information from my UI. I understand that this is likely part of a workaround in order to credit melee kills to the glaive, but I cannot stress enough that the current implementation just doesn't work. The workaround needs to be worked around, I need my melee charge to show and for my glaive to not completely turn off my exotic.
