I understand why it’s happening and also understand that if you build properly with things like synthos, dunes, even acd feedbacks!, that you’ll not only be rewarded greatly for taking the time to speck into a certain play style but entirely unaffected by the upcoming change… Not that I have an issue with the current state besides the horrible tracking but if it’s going to not one hit anymore could we potentially see those abilities be changed to work similar to Shiver Strike with no sprint to activate function? Shiver Strike also doesn’t one hit but like I said before you’re rewarded greatly for specking into builds and right now with synthos you get the base melee consistency of current knockout titan and if you even play your cards right turn Shiver Strike into one of the best feeling one hit abilities I guarantee you’ve ever used. I don’t feel it would be to strong so long as they worked exactly the same where it would force you to think about using it offensively/defensively according to what the situation calls for but at the cost of using your melee charge (cool down of course varies). I know that’s exactly the opposite of what’s intended for the whole movement ability aspect of it but the stasis melee works exactly the same but no sprint to activate obstacle, though I understand the trade off for the light shoulder charge abilities is being able to maintain your melee ability so long as you don’t connect with an opponent, IMO I just feel making it similar to Shiver Strike could give all Titans some extra leverage/utility while also satiating the D1 veterans want for Twilight Garrison.
