So I guess Bungie is fine throwing Ward of Dawn under the bus? They have a lore tab for the Phoenix Protocol mocking people who think Well of Radiance is just a better Titan bubble, so I think it's safe to say it's put on the back burner for now. Helm of Saint still doesn't make it compete with other supers, and even if it did, that's still a terrible design choice to the have the effectiveness of a subclass hinge entirely on one exotic. Exotics are there to accentuate or vary a playstyle, not be something that enables the subclass entirely.

2 RepliesI’m not even a titan main and I feel your pain. I think it was probably the most devastating loss to titans in D2 and Bullshit to be honest. Think of all the uses the bubble had especially in raids. You have my upvote Titan.

Weapons of light should be put back on the bubble. Having at on the castable shield makes it useless due to it's buff not outweighing the lack of damage you yourself are not doing.

The super itself is fine. The problem is that Bungie has completely changed the way it designs its boss battles. Ward of Dawn is designed to be used when you want to hunker down and defend a particular spot on the map. Only Bungie has decided that they want us constantly moving during these boss fights. So between the increasingly-tedious knockback mechanic....and every race now having adds that aggressively rush you....there is not only little use for Ward of Dawn.... ...the game actively punishes you for trying to play that way. It was the same thing last year with Dawnblade and Angel of Light. We have this attunement that is entirely desgined about being an aerial combat platform....and then the sandbox team tunes all the game's weapons so that you can't hit the broadside of a barn while in the air. One team gives you a power....and another team actively punishes you for using it....or designs the game to prevent you from using it. Craziness.

2 RepliesWhen a warlock can just nova warp your entire team inside a bubble it kinda defeats its purpose in PVP.

another victim of PVP nerf callers

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 10/24/2018 12:07:12 AMShould be able to shoot out of it, should prevent enemy access and a second activation causes the bubble to explode (like a single shot nova warp)

Well yes and no. WoD is much better than what is was before and can turn a match around in pvp or save your ass in a raid BUT it still could use a bit more and of course shield sucks due to its STILL crappy detection.

It’s pretty good for games like countdown/breakthrough (assuming the enemy team has used up their one and done supers.

Good.

4 RepliesIt's a great super for holding down objectives in PvP.
