Extra Credits are very good at pointing out problems and points of game mechanics. Within the video I put here they address an issue that is already happening with Destiny. It's called "Power Creep" and it basically means: When older content becomes obsolete compared to newer content. The video helps explain and provide solutions to this. This problem has already started with destiny's raid gear where the Vault of Glass weapons and gear has become a lot less important since the Crota's End and vendor gear are both easier to get and are more powerful. If this problem persists then Bungie's 2 year plan for Destiny 1 will crumble. My basic solution to this problem is to add a lvl 33 version of the Vault of Glass where players get loot of the same strength as Crota's end. Athough this solution may not work well on a long term basis.
