(But the trophies dont lie!!)
Lets see what trophys have to say about destinys population, shall we!?
16.4 million people bought destiny. a couple difference census' have shown that that a large number of copies were bought for both systems. on the playstation dashboard, in the trophy collection it shows the % of how many people worked hard enough to get certain trophies. even if the number of people who synced they trophies is less then the amount of people who have, there is a large enough control group of people who have, to gather the data that we are looking at today. so we will use all 16.4 million copies sold world wide today. you can get away with 1% of the population as a control group that would be 164,000. guaranteed there is more than 164,000 playstations synced. most people want 5% when dealing with millions of people. this still only equals to 820,000. a fraction of the number of sales. so lets get to it!
17.6% of people have completed the raid and 11% have completed the hard raid. thats 2.8 million people who beat regular, and 1.8 million people who have beaten hard.
You know what other game less than 20% of people didnt get to the end game? DIABLO 3.
What about weapons, since not everyone raids and some people just pvp, grind dailys?
18.3 % of people have played destiny enough to get a fully upgraded legendary. 3 million people fully upgraded legendary, and and 2.2 million have fully upgraded exotics.
15%( i dont have my playstation here, but all three are around 15-16% so im grouping them together, even though they are separate trophies)of people have done enough grinding to get warlock/hunter/titans sub classes maxed out. which means 2.4 million people have played one of 6 sub classes enough to get them maxed out.
this is the one stat that i believe stands above all else all you have to do is complete bounties. its not new armour, or weapons that you would get randomly. its a pure statistic, because it does not require you to do anything other than what you already are doing.
destiny is not the game bungie wanted it to be.

1 답변You realise you don't have to play Destiny every single day and are in fact allowed to play other games right?

작성자: Vitrify 2/11/2015 1:17:17 AMYou realize that there is no delay right? The leaked picture was never confirmed by Bungie, so March 10 was never the official release date. After the uproar about Dark Below and even the initial game having glitches, they probably pushed the release date to fix and playtest. Deej may have acknowledged it, but he's the community manager, not the actual programmer. So who knows how often he gets information he's allowed to share.

1 답변People were complaining that HoW would be released too quickly and invalidate only three months of work, so the date was pushed back to make the people happy. Now people bitch that it's gonna take too long for HoW to drop. Maybe they changed the timetable because of people initially complaining so that we all could enjoy our stuffs for a little longer before they became irrelevant. Maybe they changed the timetable to try to make HoW better than what the TDB was. The problem they did do though was make all of this new gear WAY TOO EASY to get. I cannot emphasize way too easy enough. Those of us who played from the launch know that many of us struggled to get Raid Gear to max out at 30. Even Bungie knew it which is why they had IB gear to help on the task of getting to 30. Now, within 2 weeks of TDB dropping, I, and many others, had max light gear on at least 1 character. Go to today and pretty much everyone who has been playing regularly has full raid gear on every character, sure they might still be grinding for the few remaining shards but the difference is I was only able to get one of my characters to 30 before TDB dropped due to not getting raid helmets. Being 29 on Hard VoG was a challenge....Bungie tried to replicate that with Hard Crota but there's strategies for Hard Crota that allow you to never even come close to being hit, let alone actually getting hit. Hard Crota has literally turned into you're either winning or you lose because of some glitch. I haven't had one run where someone legitimately was killed because they put themselves into danger or were swarmed....unlike VoG where even as 31s and 32s the teleporting Minotaur in Venus can still give some relic holders a fit or Supplicants aren't taken care of and boom. I'm hoping the delay in putting out HoW is to make the content legitimately harder not artificially harder nor give us strategies that will allow for people to breeze through it. I also hope they make it more difficult to get max gear so people aren't sitting at 34 2 weeks after the DLC drops. I won't lie that the game seems a little stale right now but it's stale because Bungie decided to satisfy the casual by making it way too easy to acquire the next top gear.

They didn't fix either raid... still bad bugs and glitches only have slight variations from how they were done before but still work... they need to fix actual game impacting bugs and make co tent over failing to fix exploits that most players have used to the dullest by now.

11 답변Did you ever think the delay was because they have a number of new game mechanics to be worked out and coded to make up for prior experiments? Doesnt matter... BYE! Door on the ass and all that! Have a great evening

3 답변I have no problem waiting for the HoW to come out. I'd rather them have more time to iron out the kinks than rush it out and it be crappy.
-
1 답변They are not delayed at all, it was never announced it would release in March, that was speculation.

4 답변Even if it means people stop playing the game for now (which I'm sure there will be some) they will still come back once the expansion is out.

Tooooo long of a post. Activision reported to investors (whom you cannot lie to or its an SEC violation), 16 million people are playing this game. If everyone stopped playing right this second, and they will not, Destiny is nothing but a MASSIVE success by every possible measurable. Destiny 2 is almost guaranteed to be the top selling game in 2016 with that kind of install base. /rant. You can go back to your falling sky story, Chicken Little. ...

1 답변I don't know why people won't acknowledge that the 7 week wait for hard mode crota is why HoW is coming out 7 weeks after Mar 10. Bungie said that they were developing Destiny 2 a month after Destiny came out. They don't have multiple studios like Ubisoft and they don't have multiple developers like CoD, so once they started developing Destiny 2 the number of employees working on expansions and bug fixing for Destiny HAD to drop in numbers, throwing all expansion releases back if anything "unexpected", like constant cheese patching, happened.
