No, no, no. Very bad idea for Destiny if trading becomes 'freely' allowed. As frustrated as you might be by the RNG loot system, surely the idea of being handed what you want will ruin the fun in wanting it? Where's the fun in continuing to play? Be honest, when got the Gjallahorn, Vex, Suros, Fatebringer etc. how did you feel? You felt happy but then you felt somehow empty didn't you? You asked yourself 'what next' didn't you? Trading will kill the addictive nature of the game which is why most people play it in the first place.
Now, having said that, trading with the other 2 members of your fireteam following a strike/nightfall etc. COULD work but needs careful thought.
What do Guardians think?

Great points there. Personally, I think trading would work alright if it was only between items of equivalent rarity and weapon/armor. And had a big fee. Maybe twenty rare coins for exotics, less for legendaries, and only glimmer for commons and uncommons. If Exotics were 20 coins, it would basically be the same as buying a weapon from Xur.

3 답변I think that is the worst argument against a trading system you could make. (And I'm kinda against having trading.) Grind is the enemy of fun, even if it spreads the fun out over a longer period of time. It's also the case that a trade generally doesn't mean "you give me $awesomeThing, and I give you nothing". I worked for whatever it is I gave in trade, and you value it more than the thing you're trading: that is we are exchanging goods and/or services.

I think that destiny`s loot system is needlessly exploitive and cruel, and something has to be done about it, but what? Trading is the easy answer, but like most simple solutions it creates new problems. Changing the drop rate is another easy option, but it doesn't guarantee positive results (I remember when bungie announced that the gyptarch would give more purple engrams, but I still havent got any from him) My suggestion is to have ALL enimies call for reinforcements, metal gear style. (More mobs means more loot right?) As long as each wave is more difficult than the last to discourage camping this would address a number of player and developer concerns.

It really only effects the people you play with. I don't give two shits if the guy I'm in a strike with has ghallahorn or not. I do care if my friend has 2 of them, i don't have any, and i have 3 red deaths and he had none. That means if we traded those items ( 1 galla for 1 red ), then we would both be happy. Does it really effect you in any way if that transaction goes down? I sure hope not. I really hope people understand what I'm getting at.

작성자: Doc SoCal 1/29/2015 11:14:52 PMEh, I just see it turning into a whs full of Korean kids farming in game items to sell on eBay for IRL cash. A way around that may be to make it clan mates only and you have to be in that clan for TWO WEEKS before you can trade with anyone and if that person leaves the clan within 30 days of the trade, the trade reverses. That may trip of the cash for digital crap crowd but I don't think it would stop it altogether. I play the game as a fun space shooting gallery, prizes are not why I play but I do like getting them. If I could just buy or trade for all the gear I want it would not change why I play Destiny so that is not much of an issue for me personally.

In games with loot systems like this trading is a way to offset being cursed by RNGesus. I don't feel like I earned anything if I get a lucky reward. If I don't want my 5th Dragon's Breathe it would be nice to trade it for something I do. If they don't put in trading they should let us pick the exotic reward instead of at random or put in more exotic bounties.

1 답변I felt that way at first but my mind has changed.... I think just trading among fire team members 10 min after it drops should be allowed

Trade does not mean being able to trade EVERYTHING. In DC Universe you're able to trade weak gear (Rare, common, or uncommon) not tier gear (Legendary, or exotic). You were able to trade money not marks. Trading does not mean handing out free exotics no game in their right mind would do that.

2 답변I think bungie should just make more weapons and armor that players want to use... Instead of everyone going after the same three or four weapons in the game.

작성자: SwankyButters 1/29/2015 10:47:24 PMNot against trading but it's not really all that fun to me... Gambling, now that can be fun and done in a way that can avoid it from being a defacto trading system. Games of skill for weapons, resources, medals, whatever. Shooting, jumping, racing, boxing, etc... Something like that in the tower would be awesome.

4 답변instead of player trading, how about a lone system for strikes and raids. Something like for the duration of the raid, you may "lone" someone a better weapon. I see this in Crota's end, where the best sword bearer is the only guy with a gally. And if the "loner" leaves the weapon goes with him. I know this would be a big script undertaking but somewhat doable.

작성자: ryanhatfield 1/29/2015 9:13:31 PMI think trading items with NPC vendors for materials, glimmer, etc. is fine. I think trading items other than exotics or raid quality items between players is fine. The moment you can trade raid items or exotics is the moment the game dies.

I honestly don't want to see a trade system. If there was I would most likely have everything I want and wouldn't play nearly as much. I think you'd see a sharp drop off in the amount of guardians online after a little bit of trading. Just my opinion
