EARNED? ARE YOU DUMB?
This is the best, Im laughing so much to people that say they "EARNED" the gjallarhorn. First of all the only way you can earn a weapon is if you do your weeklys and get the strange coins. Since you EARNED the strange coins to obtain/buy the weapon from Xur.
("Yes I know you can get exotic bounties too")
Only real way you EARN a gjallarhorn is by buying it from Xur, you didn't really EARN a gjallarhorn by a nightfall or PvP or a raid. "It just your luck is better then others"
Definition of earn:
to gain or get in return for one's labor or service.

I could join in at the last second on a nightfall and get a Hawkmoon while the people who grinded through the whole strike get nothing. By definition they should have been the ones who got it because they put in the effort. But it doesn't work that way a lot of the time. It thus game actually awarded people who pit in the most effort it would be a much better game and loot system.
