I've had this game since day 1. I have around 96 hours in this game. 96 hours is 4 days of just playing destiny. So, please, enlighten me on how the living hell some people have 400, 500, hell I've seen some people with 1000+. I get dead bored of this game after an hour or two of playing.(if none of my friends are on, if they are, then it's around 2-3 hours) What is there to do after the daily? The bounties are just boring as hell to me, and I find myself turning off the system and doing something else. I read this story of a guy who plays destiny because it's for his brain therapy after his 11 brain surgeries, so I can completely understand if he has a bunch of hours, along with others who have had issues, whatever they may be, but how can the average person have 400-1000+ hours in the game?
EDIT: Yes I changed some things. I've realized (not completely on my own) that some people want to spend every second of free time playing Destiny. And that's fine. I have around 1300ish maybe more probably less hours in Skyrim, but that game has been out for 3 years.
Edit: how does this have 400+ replies?

Yeah In the holidays i play maybe 3/4 hrs a day and get bored. It is too easy on one character to do daily, 100 marks and raids, nf, weekly. That said, if you have more characters you literally do everything again which seems kinda dull to me.

i clock most of my hours on tuesdays and wed. bounties almost everyday to upgrade any drops or xur buys. bounties only take 30 min tho depending on the bounties. ive had since oct white xbox bundle and i have over 400 hours myself. also if you figure in people having 3 characters (8 hours to get to 20 x 3) then the same nightfalls etc etc. also same as the people who only play sports games and only buy them once a year. i personally play other games as well, and most of my hours on destiny were first month. now its upgrading and tuesdays. raids too man. 3 characters x three raids. adds up

I play a lot because the game is fun and playing the game keeps me busy. If I wasn't busy playing then I'd just be out spending money. This way, the game actually save me money. I was able to take my wife to aruba for 10 days in December precisely because I succeeded in saving money.

Because some really need a upgrade, searching for a gun they really like (without being spoiled brats), just enjoying to raid, strike or just to have fun. There are so many that just enjoy the game, no matter how many hours or days they played. Time flies when you just have fun

Easyli, get to work 8 hours / day, do some shit on home about 4 hours, playing destiny 5 to 6 hours and sleeping 3 to 5 hours. Believe me those morning wakings doesn't Hurt after 1,5 months... And yes I have only 350 hours but I wasn't buy this game on day one

Spent a few weekends where I played 8 hours each day. Generally play for 2-3 hours most evenings after work. It adds up fast, especially once you start making multiple characters and get sucked back into leveling more gear and weapons you want to try out new builds, etc.
