hate it when someone joins at the end of a nightfall
Only if it is a friend of my friend in the game with me. I immediately boot that person and make sure it's set to invite only. I've lost an online friend because of it, but it's ok. I had known him for a week only lol. So point being, if I don't know you and it's my fault I forgot to change the setting, I'll boot!!
Edit : I guess no one can read. If a friend OF A FRIEND joins (meaning I more than likely don't even know the guy) than they get booted. I put the caps on :)
Edit : you guys can't even read, apparently some of you guys think I'm talking about kicking someone in the middle of a roc strike or that it's unfortunate they got qued up with me. I can't kick people from roc strikes and there is no matchmaking in a nightfall.
Edit : people still can't read or understand. also, there is a difference between "helping" and "carrying"
Edit : not sure why people are upset with how i play my game lol. it's my destiny disc. not yours. you have your own. sheesh people, getting a bit salty around here.

I don't mind...had this happen this week actually... Guy joined in at Phogoth when he was about down, don't think he had a kill or an assist.. He ended up getting some exotic armor, we all got exotic armor actually LOL The three of us then ran the weekly and finished in 8 minutes.

I won't jump into a weekly/nighfall strike with out asking. However if I see somebody doing the daily and need to do it I will jump in with out asking. Seems like there are multiple people on my list that do this to me and I assume that the daily is fair game. I should also note that I have had a 3rd jump into a lower weekly when I have been carrying a lower level player through (personal friend). This has happened 3 times and all 3 of them did not receive any rewards as they had already done it and just did it to help out.

11 답변What the hell does it matter to you anyway? If it was a matter of having to split the loot, that would make a difference, but it's not like you're losing anything. Are you that insecure that you can't even be gracious enough to let someone else get a little extra loot from something you'd be doing regardless of whether they are there or not? Or are you afraid they will get the same or better loot than you and have some kind of edge in the Crucible (If that's the case, there are only four words for you: You suck, get good.)? Even so it's not like you can't just as easily jump in on someone else's strike. This is a co-op game. We should be trying to find ways to make things easier for other players. You can afford to be a little magnanimous. People like that, and want to play with people who are like that. Keep on being a jerk and don't be surprised when people don't want to play with you.

I understand what your saying, but if its an easy one like this week that you can solo, it doesnt bother me. I had a friend try and play with me, but get booted, so I just did it alone. Then as I was about to finish, I told him to join up and at least get the loot for it. It doesn't really bother me because he wasn't just trying to sneak in, and I asked him to join up.

I'll leave my party open until I'm about 50% done. Then I'll close it. I've had a friend ask me to join, I sent a invite, him then went and invited a friend of his, and not mine. I joined their party chat and said Wtf? Some random guy started running his mouth and told me I had no life for soloing the NF and all that Internet tough guy Jazz. I told the two guys in my party "thank your friend over there". And I proceeded to kick them both out of the fire team. Then I got bombarded with messages and invites and I just removed them from my friends list.

did it solo 2 times and invited people right at the end (give them 3 min to join, finish solo otherwise) people dont see where you at, maybe only wants help. If I can, I'll still help others, especially freinds with l28 or so, doing nightfall & stuff

1 답변I have no problem with people joining and helping out... However, if they join at the end and get the reward, then I'll ask them to help with my next activity or return the favor sometime. My only issue is with those who intentionally try to time jumping in at the last minute. I had to kick one guy who would jump in at the end, leave and try to jump in at the end on my next run.

I'm the opposite. Just last night a friend was completing bounties, me and another guy would alert him when phogoth was at a sliver of health. He would join, we kill, everyone gets bonus. Later we helped each other with other things. Cause, you know, that's what friends do.
