hate it when someone joins at the end of a nightfall
Only if it is a friend of my friend in the game with me. I immediately boot that person and make sure it's set to invite only. I've lost an online friend because of it, but it's ok. I had known him for a week only lol. So point being, if I don't know you and it's my fault I forgot to change the setting, I'll boot!!
Edit : I guess no one can read. If a friend OF A FRIEND joins (meaning I more than likely don't even know the guy) than they get booted. I put the caps on :)
Edit : you guys can't even read, apparently some of you guys think I'm talking about kicking someone in the middle of a roc strike or that it's unfortunate they got qued up with me. I can't kick people from roc strikes and there is no matchmaking in a nightfall.
Edit : people still can't read or understand. also, there is a difference between "helping" and "carrying"
Edit : not sure why people are upset with how i play my game lol. it's my destiny disc. not yours. you have your own. sheesh people, getting a bit salty around here.

Suck it up your a A-hole own it =p It hurts you none and you boot them for stupid reason. As if they stayed out on purpose and psychicly knew you were almost done and snuck in to get the win just to screw you. I solo nightfalls when i get to the last shot I invite people. Its 2 open slots why waste them.

People are annoyed with you because: 1. The vast majority of people who join a nightfall in progress are looking to [i]HELP[/i] the person doing it. Not looking to be carried or get some sort of free ride. 2. Booting people (if you've left your FT open for others to join, and you don't have a full team already is just obnoxious). If you feel that way then set your team to "private" or "friends only".

52 답변Immature. Help is here! BOOT HIM. I encourage people to join me, beginning, middle, very end. Doesn't matter. I'll send invites out with the boss at a sliver of life left and will not kill him until they pop in. I also help with raids and nightfalls even though I've already ran them a hundred times. This game is all about team work. Players like you are garbage.

I join nightfalls all the time to offer assistance, and if there ever is a complaint it's usually that they had a third and he wants to come back at which point I leave because stealing someone's nightfall isn't cool. That being said if I've got a spot open I don't care if they join and get lucky enough to avoid doing one of the same hand full of raids we've had to do over and over again.

9 답변I tend to do the opposite. I get as far as I can on nightfalls, and invite people who need it when the boss is almost dead (party chat helps) and give people a free run. Why? It's cause I know they aren't able to find a team, just can't do it alone, or other reasons. Personally I find joy in seeing people's reactions when playing and I'll enjoy it more when they get what they want. That reward is more satisfying than the whole of my vault

Kind of agree. Usually those who join right at the end and don't do that much toward the result get the best rewards. That's kind of annoying. 3 times I've had someone join us at the moment where we just finish off the boss and they get an exotic. I would never kick them though, it's not like they know we are all but finished.

The only reason i can think of for kicking a person you don't know is ego, yours must be swelling like a souffle. Most problems have more than one solution, you just have to be clever to come up with them. [/quote] Because this is a game that heavily relies on co-op, and people like you are corrosive. If you forget to set your team to invite only that is your problem and makes it completely your fault. And by inviting your friends you are open to the liability of them inviting their own friends. Welp, that's my two cents. Cherio.

Sending a message first is pretty important. Sometimes you're waiting for another clan member to join a raid or strike. I lost a couple of friends because they would join in and refuse to leave even after explaining the situation. Others would join in and immediately start bossing everyone around. Point is, as others have said, manners are important. Respect goes a long way.

You know, most people don't realize you are at the end. For instance. When I was on 360, i joined a friend doing the weekly. I spawned in and realized we were almost at the end. I waved and danced a little, he replied likewise, and we carried on and finished it. Then we parted ways. Why can't you not be a d*ck?

So, because he thinks "oh hey, he is doing the nightall, maybe I can get in an help him out since i need it too" you kick them. You realize that is a douchebag move, yeah? Why do you care if they join you? You have the spot open, they clearly need the loot too, and they had no way of knowing you were done anyways. Kicking them is just you being a dick.

3 답변I echo your sentiments here; if I don't know you in real life and you were not invited to the strike, you get the boot. If you send me a message ahead of jumping in, most times I would love the extra help.
