hate it when someone joins at the end of a nightfall
Only if it is a friend of my friend in the game with me. I immediately boot that person and make sure it's set to invite only. I've lost an online friend because of it, but it's ok. I had known him for a week only lol. So point being, if I don't know you and it's my fault I forgot to change the setting, I'll boot!!
Edit : I guess no one can read. If a friend OF A FRIEND joins (meaning I more than likely don't even know the guy) than they get booted. I put the caps on :)
Edit : you guys can't even read, apparently some of you guys think I'm talking about kicking someone in the middle of a roc strike or that it's unfortunate they got qued up with me. I can't kick people from roc strikes and there is no matchmaking in a nightfall.
Edit : people still can't read or understand. also, there is a difference between "helping" and "carrying"
Edit : not sure why people are upset with how i play my game lol. it's my destiny disc. not yours. you have your own. sheesh people, getting a bit salty around here.

I had someone do this to me while I was still in the flight loading screen. The PS4 got so confused it crashed, then burst into flames. I didn't put the fire out quickly enough and my whole house burnt down. My wife's childhood teddy burnt with it and she was so upset she divorced me. I couldn't afford to pay the repairs and mortgage on my own, so the bank took my house. I was forced to live on the streets with only my smartphone to keep me warm at night...Think before you act. Your actions have consequences!

I join my friends all the time in the middle of nightfalls. I'm usually the first to do them so I never get rewards for doing this. It's fun to help out and they appreciate it. Especially if they are running it on a sub level alt.

For me it depends. If it's a more difficult and/or time-consuming one then I would kick. I have a friend I would kick too but only because he is so -blam!-ing lazy. He also gets me to carry him in other games only to quit playing shortly after. He's a nice guy but annoying to game with so I won't let him get freebies off of me.

If you didn't want haters you should have never posted here. This community is one of the most judgmental, caustic communities I've ever seen. I agree with you about the topic of this post but your multiple edits trying to explain yourself feed the soulless "people" that replied negatively. Just take solace in the fact that they probably suck and need to get carried, that is why they are trying to get a rise out of you. Be better than them. If someone replies negatively just mute them, problem solved.

I've had this happen to me a couple of times. The reason this suck is because nothing in this game is earned. You work for your rewards. So if someone joins at the last second and gets an exotic, it feels like you've been robbed.

I remember one week a friend and I were doing Nexus on NF, 15 mins in, main boss is at 10% hp. My best friend finishes CE and joins, so we wait a couple seconds to get in and we all down him... My best friend then gets Ghorn 2.0, 5lb jar of jelly from Costco.

2 답변Everyone bagging on the OP saying, "it's just a guy looking to help you out, but then gets booted," knows that's a damned lie. I'm sure some people like to help, but the majority of people jump in hoping you're already on the boss. Besides those two feelings don't have to be mutually exclusive. It's possible to want to help, but be hoping/happy 9/10s of the work is already done.
