I'm still 31 and I got the game a few weeks after release- am I bad?

Nope. It's all about luck with drops and shards. I have been playing since day one, I only have one character so I get to do everything once a week, I'm lucky to get 10 radiant shards a week lol. I do all nightfalls and raids, do at least 75% of each weeks vanguard and Eris bounties and max out my vanguard marks every week. I have full raid gear and a lot of maxed weapons (G-Horn 2.0 and icebreaker 2.0, Fatebringer, Crota weapons, etc) I have barely put 160 hours into this game. Hitting level 32 is about luck and the amount of time you put into the game. If I wasn't lazy and made two more characters of the same class like a lot of level 32 players, I'd definitely be level 32 by now. Need about 14 more shards.

I'm day one and level 31. Tried and tried and tried to get to lvl 30 (when the cap was 30), then DLC came out. Now have no intention hitting lvl 32. Why do you need to get to 32? Just wait for house of wolves and new level cap, then do hard Crota raid. So to answer your question; no.

Nope! My Titan is only 31, can't get the raid gear I need to drop from CE, was the same story with VoG. My Hunter on the other hand, was only created a week or two before xmas and is already 32. The loot drops in the Raid are as disappointing as they are inconsistent!

4 답변I been playing since September I think and am 31. My character shows 30 but I'm leveling arm pieces right now for variety. I love the VoG but have no interest in the new raid for whatever reason so I won't be 32 unless I start feeling frisky
-
I have all the raid armour but not enough shards for level 32. I dont always have enough free time to complete the raid every week because I have other commitments. your level doesnt make you bad it just depicts the armour your wearing. I can make myself level 20 again if I want doesnt mean crap tbh.

1 답변Depends. If you refuse to do the raid and can't complete it, then some would call you bad. But if you're just not bothered to raid then you're at the max level you can be :P
-
Eh not really, personally I think Crotas End isn't fun, I only have 2-3 completions but each time it just didn't capture my attention like the VOG did so I haven't done it in a few weeks, don't know if I will or not. Just not fun to me at all.

1 답변I'm 31 and was one of the first to get there. But I don't raid so I'm staying at 31. There isn't anyone I can't kill being a 31 . Being a 32 means nothing. ( unless you wanna do hard raid. Which i've no interest in )

4 답변No. I'm in the same boat, except that I preordered the game and have been playing it since day 1.

i'm one of the "douche bag 32s" someone just referred to. i am not that great, just above average. my light level doesn't make me good. playing with 3 different characters doesn't make you good either. i am not 32 because of rng. i am 32 because i put in a LOT of effort in this game to get there. but putting in the work and being prepared (max light level and ALL maxed weapons) is also extremely valuable. for instance, if someone is level 31 and they try to come into the hard raid, the enemies are going to be basically all majors and two levels higher than that person. so there is a major difference in damage output and intake. the gap is so much that it surpasses their ability. it's not a matter of skill at that point, but mathematics. And oftentimes, not always but oftentimes, where there's a 31, there is also unupgraded weapons. then the liability gap increases, again because of mathematics and scaling. and the reason for under leveled weapons is similar to not reaching max level: a failure to do whatever level of work is required

Probably not depending on how often you play and how often you go through CE. I'm 32 but I only reached 32 after Christmas. I also don't run CE on both Titan every week so I usually got one armor drop at a time, most of the time it was the chest or arms, now that I've got the whole set (aside from the helm) I'm 32, with the help of an exotic helmet, of course.
