THORN OWNERS OUT THERE (CLOSED)
Hey I was wondering how you got 500 kills with void damage to complete step 3 for the thorn bounty tell me the easiest way please! C:

My formula: 1. Get void fusion rifle with good charge rate. (green/blue/purple/yellow...doesn't matter how "good" the weapon is, just fire/charge rate) 2. Get void machine gun. (I used Zombie Apocalypse but again, doesn't matter which one. I would stay away from ones with a high fire rate, though) 3. Play on Control. 4. Get help to kill Xyor. Enjoy your Thorn.

Patience and determination. I had a void Light/Beware fusion rifle, and I used it as if it were my primary. And Truth, Truth helps. A lot. It was a tough grind, especially as I a) use a hunter, and b) am a below average skill level, but I got there in the end, and Thorn is worth it.

Control Praedyths revenge Truth Went invisible and cheaply sniped. Rushed the heavy ammo drop when it procd. Don't run around, hang back and defend and choose when to attack wisely. Most importantly invent a time machine and play just after xmas, the influx of new players were like shooting fish in a barrel. I had trouble getting up to around 100 kills before then, struggling with Atheon's epilogue and weak impact so I decided to scrap that idea and play with my main PVP primary. Then xmas noobs let me get to 500 in an hour or so. Thorn now sits in my vault!

I had to buy The Comedian shotgun the Vanguard sold before the DLC changed everything. I don't know if there's a gun to buy anymore tbh my brother's stuck on this part also. I'm going to try and run him through the VoG again probably so he can get a chance at the Praedyth's Revenge and Aetheon's Epilogue. Play Skirmish or any 3v3 game type instead of 6v6. It's easier to go on streaks imo in 3's and there's less chance of getting bodied by a pack of enemies.

Get atheons epilogue( a primary with void) for your secondary use a void shotgun or fusion rifle unless your really good with a sniper and safely kill do not try to fight 2v1s. As your heavy a rocket launcher can be a garanteed kill but if your any good with an lmg you will get the kills quicker. Took me about 5-10 games

작성자: yesimahawtgirl 1/22/2015 11:15:44 AMI'm a hunter and got it using only a rare fusion rifle. It's really not too difficult. I used blade dancer and went more stealthy, sneaking around corners and *using the radar*, making sure not to just run and gun like normal. It took me about three days of casual playing to get it. Just keep going nice and steady and you'll make it. Control is best because you can camp at a point and the other team aren't focused solely on getting kills. If you get one kill for every two deaths you are still making positive progress
