Make shoulder charge a cool down
EDIT6: So many angry teens and trolls, holy shit, difference of opinion isn't an option on the internet :s
I'm going to delete this topic soon, there is no point in displaying different opinions on bungie.net when 75% of the community are rage hard trolls.
Throwing knives are not one hit kills, throwing knives have a cool down time (hunters).
Force palm are not one hit kills, they give a shield but have a cool down time (warlocks).
Shoulder charge is a one hit kills, it doesn't have a cool down but can be used after sprinting for three seconds (titans).
So, two classes have a 50%damage ability melee on cool down but one class has a 100% damage ability with no cool down?
Bungie fix.

14 답변Shoulder charge isn't a melee, it's a perk on the far right skill tree. So comparing it to the other class melees is dumb and irrelevant. The titans actual melee is storm fist (or disintegrate depending on which subclass) and that has a cool down. I'm cool with it getting a cool down, as long as it becomes an actual melee option (in the storm fist tree) and no longer requires a sprint, so i can just hit the bumper and perform a shoulder charge. If that becomes the case, then bungie can replace the the optional shoulder charge perk (in its current spot) with something else.

2 답변Shoulder charge has weaknesses and its one of the few abilities the Titan has that's actually cool, hunters have blink and can get pretty annoying with it but no ones begs for a cool down about that.

I'm not very good at crucible, but I know how to counter shoulder charge, I generally just blink out of the way as soon as I see a titan charging towards me. Those guys don't -blam!- around in cqb. Then punish them at your leisure. Shotguns work best.

4 답변Both warlock and hunter have RANGED melee attacks and like you said a shield and/or invis. Plus the hunter can do way more with back attacks. Additionally you need to consider other advantages the other classes have. Such as blink. Ever watch a warlock PvP? Blink blink blink blink blink that's all they -blam!-ing do

Shoulder Charge is just the titan's bonus in the far right of the tree. A warlock being able to hold second grenade and hunter invisibility don't have CDs. Having an extra grenade once every three minutes, or crouching for only a few seconds of invis once a fight would be extremely lackluster. Same goes to body checking. Edit: My only caveat to that are titans in your party who throw you eighty yards with it off a cliff. I'm looking at you, Ike.

Titans don't have a long range melee. Thats why they get shoulder charge. I have a warlock, titan and hunter. I appreciate the three and their unique perks. No nerfing needed. Adjust your play style to deal with the challenges in pvp. Use a shotgun or fusion rifle. If the charge kills you, you will at least get a postmortem kill.

23 답변If you can't avoid some charging you at a full sprint, you deserve the OHK. That Titan has the drop in you so badly that he could have killed you with anything in his arsenal. He just [i]chose[/i] to use the shoulder charge.

3 답변Nah. Look at the pvp stats, Titans are dead last and always will be. They are already nerfed and players know it.

6 답변I think all the classes are pretty even considering what they actually are the titan dosnt have any range attacks unlike the warlock and hunter sure the warlock dosnt have a ranged mele atack but it's a walock maybe you should have chosen another chancier if that what you wanted but the warlock has that super OP nova Ben super that wrecks and the hunter has the throwing knife it may not be one shot kill but they also have the gunslinger which is super OP and the blade dance which is basicly an unlimited shoulder charge it's a hunter so it has long range attacks and short range attacks the titan has the shoulder charge well because it's a brut character to use and it dosnt have any ranged attacks to begin with it has the defender which isn't that good and the striker which is pretty good for short ranged attacks unless you jump super high and superman across the map all the characters are even in my opinion just stop complaining about the Titans one OP attack just don't get hit by it maybe shoot him before he gets to you

Are scrubs still crying about a underwhelming skill? Only shoulder charge lands on me is from red lag titans. Otherwise it's always a free kill. Please get better and stop asking for nerfs when you don't understand how to face someone giving free kills.
