Mine was that I was Doug Crota hard the other day and we were fighting Crota. Crota was about to die when the sword bear went in for the kill. Then Crota teleported right infront of us shooting at him and wrecked us all all I could say was... OH SHit!

I almost fell off the platform where Crota is almost causing us the hard raid completion. I hit Crota, he enraged and I didnt blink strike right away so I thought he was gonna kill me so I jumped back as my team was taking down his shield for the last time. I came so close to falling off and causing a wipe.

in one week, before the patch where legendary engrams became better, i found both the last word and hardlight, this was a great surprise considering i was expecting nothing more than rares

Having a combined arms clash match with an enemy team comprised of very experienced players [I checked their stats post-game, 1000+ games and 2.0kd] in the same fireteam. I go in solo, as in with no party. I find myself constantly cornered and hunted, since I'm a sniper they take advantage by rushing me in co-ordination while their sniper rakes in the distance, I can't cover the choke points, I can barely breath with the amount of team pressure they put on me. [Somehow it's like they know I'm the player who is going to win the game] Every skill shot I get. I get exposed to another enemy teammate though what is obviously them using mic communication. I don't have that advantage with my teammates [all no mics including me] so I'm playing a very hard clash game on the outside moon where my options are even more limited. The score gets to like 7700-9300. Very close to losing. I figure we lost this, my random teammates are performing bad, hell I'm performing bad too as I'm getting focused on because they know I'm a threat. So I stay back from the fight expecting to lose at any moment. Somehow, one of my teammates takes out the tank vehicle with his super and the team starts to function how a team should function in clash [as in distant as a group but close enough to cover the key areas and teammates]. The morale boost in that successive kill is game changing. It gets to around 8700-9700, I'm feeling the pressure as we claw our way to the top. There's this one enemy sniper who just isn't like the typical sniper in matchmaking. So I back off, play the non-aggressive, I know he's good but this isn't the time for me to test his skills against mine due to the score. I figure since they're using a mic, they're calling out my location but the sniper won't come close to fetch. So I let his minions come to me, I consistently outperform them during this period and my teammates actually provide support for me like they know I'm the target [how random teammates know to protect me and only me during this key period, I do not know]. The score gets to like 9900-9900, they're all going in at this point, they're all fed up of this game [my team included]. I do the risky thing and get out of the spot I'm covering, exposing entry for the enemy team in order to run to the sperm vehicle thing and the timers going out, the firefight is happening in the middle of the map, so I speed boost round to take the longer route despite the time ticking down and flank them from behind. They're about to get the final blow but then I kill that particular enemy sniper from behind meaning we win the game and I get the final blow on that -blam!-ing sniper. -blam!- yes. With that guarded enemy sniper as the finish it was truly a clutch moment. The team, but most importantly me at this stage as the flanker, keeping level headed near the end was crucial. The score ends 1050-9960. We win. The dude sends me a message about the game saying GG and good comeback and all that. But like any PvP game a comeback always feels good. But this one was 'oh shit' because I almost gave up on my team and figured we'd lose for sure. When you're up against a fireteam that communicates and is actually decent, it is a major blow to morale for a team of randoms. To come up on top and work with randoms with no mics and just scrape the win. That's as it good as it gets as a solo underdog in public matchmaking against a co-ordinated fireteam.
